Honestly, when I opened the package, I felt my heart sink. The XL swim pants didn't look like they would fit a 12 year old girl much less a full figured chick like me. Despite my misgivings, I shimmied (or squirmed, depending on your perpspective) into these pants and was amazed that I actually love them. I am 5'8" and weigh 205, which usually translates into a size 14 jeans or 16 dress pant. I bought a size XL after looking at their sizing chart, and reading reviews. These swim leggings fit very snuggly, which is a good thing when swimming and diving. They are a nice thickness, and feel well made. I have to say, I am very pleased with my purchase.***I paid full price for these leggings and did not receive any compensation for this review. I used these tights for a recent trip to Hawaii. I'm so pale I'm almost translucent and I only burn. At first, I was a little paranoid and used sunblock under the tights but then went sunblock free and still was out in the water for hours without burning, even at midday. Sweet! Also, as a snorkeler, I was glad to not wear sunblock in the water since it is harmful to the reefs and their residents.Size wise, this fit exactly as expected. I'm 5'10" and a size 16. The XL were long enough and the tights didn't pinch at all. I was able to wear them for hours and they were always comfortable.As others mentioned, there is no gusset or lining so you need to wear your swim suit under them but that's not a big deal, especially at this price.

They actually sent me a different pant free of charge that was great! Really nice company with great customer service =)I ordered three of these in various colors in size XL (I'm 6'1" and 184 pounds) and I so badly wished they would have worked out for me. They fit great, even in the length since they had so much stretch (and I have a 34"-35" inseam measurement) and they really are super cute.My complaint and the reason that I ended up sending these back was the lack of either a liner or a sewn in crotch gusset. I bought these with the intention of wearing while scuba diving/snorkeling and didn't feel that they would be thick enough or not chafe areas you'd rather not have chafe without either the liner or gusset. Otherwise you end up needing to wear a swim suit bottom underneath (which I didn't want to have to do because it holds more water and takes longer to dry in-between dives)If the company makes that change though I'll be back to buy one in each of the colors! =)

This is my second order of the swim tights. I wanted the pink but it was only available in small so based on what I read about the sizing, I thought I would need a medium so ordered the grey. The grey ones fit OK but they weren't as snug as expected so I thought I could wear a small with no problems so I ordered the pink ones. I was right, they fit just fine. Actually there isn't a whole lot of difference between the two sizes other than the pink ones are a little shorter.I need the coverage because of photosensitivity so hopefully I can now spend more time on the beach.I wear a long sleeved rash guard with these and surprisingly I'm quite comfortable in them whether on the beach or just hanging around.

I am 5 foot 8 and these fit great in length. FYI if you have small ankles these will be loose at the ankles. I bought an extra large they fit great. The waist band comes up very high and fits tight. That's my only complaint. Very cute swimming pants

Swim pants were great to keep my legs covered while at the beach. They are longer than expected (I could take almost 4" off the hem), but I'm a short 5'2" so that tends to happen with most pants. They were very comfortable and stayed cool even when I wasn't in the water.

I’m 5’5” and almost 160, I got the large, they were a little loose around my hips but they kept me warm and confident scampering about the beaches of Hawaii, give them a try.

I purchased these to wear to a swimming party - get in and out of the pool and not have to deal with lotion. I wore them with my swimsuit underneath so I'd feel more "covered". They're a bit thin, but they provided the modesty and sun protection I wanted. I will definitely use these again the next time I want to be in and out of the pool on a sunny day.
