Can this be used on plastic chrome trim to remove hard water spots?

I would think any good wax could do this. This is a premium wax.

Which one would be better, this wax, or the h2o guard gloss sealant?

Its personal preference. If you enjoy the process of waxing your vehicle Buttery Wax is Carnauba Wax based and super easy to use and leaves a great slick shine. H2O Guard & Gloss is a great product because it creates a durable, glossy water activated sealant layer. Since it is water activated you combine your protection and drying steps. Both are great products and provide months of protection. Buttery Wax is applied after you dry your vehicle whereas H2O Guard and Gloss combines the two steps. Thanks!
