My Go-To
My go-to root touch up, I use it halfway between every salon visit. Great quality and easy to use. Happy Amazon still carries it as it's hard to find locally!

Good enough to try again
I am not overly impressed with this product but it does have some good and bad. Pros: - Its not harsh like bleach. This is my most important thing. - It colored my darker roots to blend in better with my surrounding hair color - Quick and easy to apply. The brush makes easier to separate hair. - Doesn't smell strong like bleach Cons: - Not enough product to apply to my entire head. Maybe I put it on too think but I only had enough to do the top part of me head, not the back. -It didnt take the brassy orange color out from my previous bleaching with Clariol Root Cover up. But my coverage could have been too light on that area. Once again adding to not having enough product. Overall I would buy this product again, but I would need to buy 2 boxes to cover more area. Its cheap enough and easy enough to try again and see if I can get better results.

This item is a good quality item and I have used it multiple times. The colors blend well with my other colors and covers the roots well. It is also easy to use.

8G = Red. For years 8G was Beautiful, until now.
Now I'm reading reviews and finding out I'm not the only one that had a bad experience with 8G root touch up. The other bad review I found for this product was dated July 2024. I too have been using root touch-up 8G for 10 years and. I bought two boxes July 2025 & both gave me a problem. IT MADE MY HAIR RED!!
