I use peach gum to make smooth porridge type dessert, and I’m really happy with the results. It’s flavorless on its own but absorbs the flavors of other ingredients beautifully. The texture is unique—similar to boba or jelly. It does require a bit of patience: you need to soak it overnight, rinse thoroughly, and pick out a small amount of bark or debris. As you can see from the photos, impurities are minimal. Overall, this is excellent quality. I absolutely love this new dessert ingredient!

After soaking overnight, it expanded significantly.While there were some tiny natural specks, they were easy to pick out once expanded. Since this is a fully natural product, these minor imperfections are completely understandable. Whether you’re making a traditional Chinese sweet soup or experimenting with new flavor combos, this peach gum delivers on both yield and taste. It’s now a staple in my kitchen, and I can’t wait to try more recipes with it—10/10 recommend!
