You can never have too many leashes!
I purchased this multi-colored 6-pack of leashes because I gave my one-and-only-one away (it came as a freebie at a local pet function). I used it on a little stray dog that showed up on my neighbor's lawn one morning. The dog had no collar and no apparent ID. So I very gently slipped the leash around the dog's neck... no need for a clip and collar attachment and proceeded to take the dog to our vet to check for a microchip, but... no chip! To make a long story short... we found the owner and returned the dog. A very happy ending with much tail wagging! These leashes are colorful, lightweight and very strong. I put several in my car and also my husband's car in case we should ever need one if encountering a lost pet. A regular clip-on leash is of no value if the dog is not wearing a collar. If the dog pulls, the leash will snug up to gain better control and to prevent the animal from slipping out. These are very affordable, easy to use and I received my shipment long before the expected date and shipping was included! You never know when you might need this product.Buy it now and if you are able to return a lost pet to it's owner... encourage microchipping the pet and be sure to pass the leash on so that maybe another pet can be rescued and returned home!

Short, but works for my needs
I have a fat bull terrier who likes to hop in the car & go with me, but I hate when I forget his leash and have to run home to get itSo, I wanted a cheap set of leashes to keep in our 3 cars so we'd never have that problem againThe leashes are certainly for temporary/occasional use. They aren't cheap or bad, they just aren't very robust eitherThe biggest issue is that they are short. My dog is short and fat, so his neck uses up more than a smaller dog's neck. I'm tall. This means the leash is actually just the right length to lead him around, but doesn't allow him to walk away from me for exampleIt works for my needs. Just realize the length could be an issue in some cases.

Awesome, added a carabiner and have a leash for walks
I finally found what I needed in the most affordable way for the quality I needed. I have a tiny dog, and we all know how they are, (I'm learning). Anyway, I just sometimes need a leash everywhere, anywhere, anytime, and I couldn't see paying $7-$20 for a lead for the 4 or 5 I needed. So, I saw this - and now I have one in the golf-cart, at the ready,... one on the porch, at the ready, one in the house, at the ready, and one in purse - - one in the car, etc.I couldn't be happier. All I had to do was add a carabiner to each ring, which I then clip to his harness at any time needed, and use the loop for my handle.Re-purposed and still have one spare, oh what to do?I can see that these are great leads for the purpose intended, however, they solved my problem of needing many quick "leashes" for my tiny one. (3-5 lb Chihuahua, puppy, highly excitable and enthusiastic, and sometimes just needs that "quick leash" in unexpected circumstances anywhere!).Quality is good, btw, nice and strong. I believe the description for use was extremely accurate. They are also very pretty colors, easy to tell apart for the purpose, and for me, I can actually coordinate with the purse or the golf-cart (just kidding, really, really!).Great bargain, fast shipping, as described and bright bright colors!

VERY VERY light weight leashes
While the leashes are just as described, they are *very* lightweight, so much so that they are entirely useles to me. My 6 month old shepherd pup will chew through one of these in seconds! There is a round woven one which I bought here a few months ago which lasted a few months. I saw this while shopping for a replacement, but... these are a joke if you have a dog that weighs more than 15 lbs, is a puller or chewer; in other words, if you really need a leash to control your dog. If you hae a tiny, old or very well mannered dog these might be OK for you but they are sufficiently light weight that I would not recommend them to anyone who has an active dog which needs to be kept out of traffic for instence. I have never before seen a leash so light wieght, and I have had dogs most of my life, been through quite a few leashes.I will say that amazon got them here remarkabley fast. I was stunned that they were sent UPS. I live in Hawaii and things so not ship that way uless i expedite, and pauy extra for them (Prime is effectively meaningless out here). The package was described as .6 lbs.... which says something. 6 leashes in a bag, in a box weight just over 1/2 lb, which means each of the leashes weighs about an ounce. That sounds about right. I think they could almost be described as ribbons.

Excellent functional slip leash for the price
Bought these to simplify taking my dog the short walk & elevator ride to the pet relief area in our building. (You know, because having to put on a collar with a quick release snap is SUCH a hassle. Ha!) We just hang one of these on the door, stick the head through and go! Also convenient for stowing in the car for quick trips where you didn't think you needed a leash, but do.Nice product for ~$1 each - just flat braided nylon webbing with a ring on one end and a hand loop on the other. (Note that this is made of nylon, not braided polyethelene rope like the ones Cesar Millan uses, so it doesn't hold it's shape like those but is nicer in the hand.) Stitching appears to be sturdy and the length is just right for walking even my 13" tall dog in the heel position. I did receive 1 each of the rather pretty colors shown in the photo. Not sure how this would work for dogs that pull excessively, in terms of comfort in your hand. I believe it would not come off a pulling/struggling dog's head/neck because it does immediately cinch down with any tension. However, as with any slip/choke-style collar and especially because this product's nylon material is soft/floppy, be cognizant of how the collar is oriented on your dog's neck since it can be slow to loosen with the release of tension.

Leash
Highly recommend these. I got these to put in puppy packs. We raise a small breed and I love that these we are able to put with puppy packs and it doesn’t require a collar for the puppy.

Great for Dog Walkers
Although these are not as heavy duty, they work fantastic for dogs that dont like to be handled. They do not have a locking mechanism so there is a small chance that a dog can slip out of it. I do find too short for really small dogs as I am very tall. Fits easily into pocket and I carry one with me all the time for those just in case moments.

They're fine, stitching on handle leaves much to be desired
They're fine, we bought them to use as regular leashes for our three small dogs (not as chokes but we attached them to their normal collars) and while they're fine, the stitching on the handle is minimalist and a little scary, I'm afraid it will just pop off some day. So if you want to use them as regular leashes, you'd best reinforce the stitching. I can't imagine using these as kennel leads for anything more than a small dog as I'd be afraid a larger dog would struggle and break the stitching on the handle.

Great find!
Works great. I use them daily as a dog groomer. A little thin but great for small dogs!
