I had these chips on a flight to Florida. They are indeed a taste sensation! I went on Amazon to search for them immediately upon landing. Absolutely worth the try if you ever wondered what would happen if a salt and vinegar chip and a BBQ chip made sweet, sweet love and had a baby. In the vein of Cape Cod chips- so make sure you are a fan of that type of very crunchy chip texture. I think the advertisement on the site says it all.. Prepare to be mystified! Thank me later- Prepare to be mystified by the irresistible allure of Zapp’s Voodoo New Orleans Kettle Style Potato Chips! These chips are cooked in a blend of peanut and other oils. Peanut oil adds the best flavor to potato chips! The spicier chips have a unique flavor with varying degrees of heat. Way better than other chips ive tried. The regular chips are really good too. I like the indivual serving size, because otherwise I'd eat way too many. The only thing I would like to see different is to have cooked totaly in peanut oil. I know it would raise the price, but it would be worth it to me. I can't find chips cooked in just peanut oil anymore. Very sad. I have never seen this brand of chips in the stores I've shopped in, so I was happy to stumble across them on Amazon. I will order more!

I’ll be attending a Tulane University at The US Naval Academy tailgate in Annapolis on November 16, 2024. I am a Tulane alumnus who will be hosted by an old Navy submarine colleague from our days serving together. These New Orleans style Zapp’s kettle chips are part of my tailgate contribution along with some spicy bloody marys. I ordered the Zapp’s in the first week of October and the sell-by dates on all the chip bags are March 2025, so should be fresh. The box includes 10 regular flavor bags, 5 Voodoo, 5 Crawtator, and 5 Jalapeño snack bags. These bags (25 bags, 1.5 Oz each) are perfect for folks to choose what they want individually instead of a lot of hands in bigger bags.

First had these when I visited NOLA years ago, and have been looking for them ever since. They don't have a wide distribution in main stream channels in the area that I live. So when I saw them on Amazon, I HAD TO HAVE THEM! They are crispy / crunchy... I like all the flavors but Voodoo is my favorite. The seasoning is nice with a slight kick, and they are not overly salty. Salty, yes but not overly so. The thickness of the chips are great... thin but not too thin that they break easy. Now when I pop a bag, memories of the good times in NOLA pop into my head too.
