This Genuine Samsung part was identified using CPU-Z as being authentic(see screen shots) and I don't think the best counterfeiters could possibly fool this program. The new UDIMM occupies Slot #1 in the attached photos.M378A2K43CB1-CTD matches with the stockM378A2K43DB1-CTDManufactured March 14, 2020 so it is new in the sealed plastic anti-static box, made in Philippines as it should be.64-Bit system now operates in dual channel mode quadrupling the clock rate.I'm totally happy with this easy and effective upgrade. Solid buy, easy install. The first boot takes a little longer since the BIOS needs to adjust to the new clock speed and memory addition. Be patient! It takes care of itself!

I purchased memory for older desktop running as media server. Works perfectly. Shipped very quickly from seller. Memory arrived 2 days sooner than expected. It was also very well packed in bubble wrap.

it fit
wanted to speed up my 3 yr old HP Pavillion and HP got the CPU info wrong, but the RAM I just read the label and bought Samsung, since it worked in the past. So the PC picked up the pace a little.... since I can't get much off an Intel i3 or 3i with 4 cores. Very Happy this worked. :)

easy to install, works well, but not working at 2666MHz as product description indicates
Install went as expected, only had 2 DIMM slots populated with 8GB + 4GB, swapped the 4 with this 16GB upgrading to 24GB, and product works, albeit initially, according to windows 10 event log, I was getting memory fault errors, all of which the OS recovered from automatically. The errors seem to have stopped. According to SPD reports it is only operating at a slower 1333MHz. The existing 2nd ram module has been changed to match.

This is first quality memory.
I liked the fact that this is Samsung memory, not some off-the-wall outfit that I never have heard of.I liked that was made in the Philippines, not China. I liked the price. In fact, I liked the improvement to my computer's performance that I just ordered another 16 Gb. Be advised that depending on your computer, it can take considerable effort to seat the memory in the socket. Mine is a Dell.

Recommended RAM for Dell XPS 8930.Dell limits the memory’s speed to 2666mhz. This is the fastest OEM recommended stick for the Dell XPS 8930 machine.Many sticks that have a higher rated speed actually have a low native speed (2133mhz) but are overclocked. The dell XPS 8930 will only recognize the native speed.This is the fastest memory I can buy and works flawlessly with my Dell XPS 8930. It’s also cheap.
