First impression very good, will see the true test results after BS summer camp.
Bought this for my son to use it on this BS summer camp. Once we got the product, I was very pleased on the quality of workmanship. Looks like a high dollar hiking boots, such as keen or merrell boots. Cost was about 1/3 of the more pricier name brand boots. Since my 12 year old feet grows so fast, I didn't want to pony up $150 or more for one. I personally use keen as my hiking boots, but I take care of mine. Hope fully this will be just as good taking a beating and on its WP abilities. If it last a year I'll be very happy.Last pair it only lasted 9 months before the bottom started to peel off and WP didn't really work. It was off brand name, paid under 50 bucks for my son's last pair of boots. Will have to wait and see after a week of abuse on this one. If you really want to test a product give it to a BS kid and they will put it to the test...trust me, they will. So far first impression, good workmanship, good feel, good support, good high skuff toe pads and great bottom traction. Will keep you posted.

Great boot, No need to spend $100s
Purchased these boots for work use. I been wearing timberlands for the last 25 years and lately the timberlands ache my feet after a few hours. Found these boots for under $40 so I figured this time instead of paying $100 for timberlands (that are only lasting me about a year and then they lose their waterproofing as the sole begins to develop holes) I would try these. If these boots last 8 months I’ll be happy. I received these boots and been wearing them daily for about three weeks. I’m active at work doing everything from climbing latters, to sitting on my knees, these boots get tested quickly. So far they are holding up well. They are warm and definitely waterproof. The sole really grabs the ground to aid in anti slip. I wear them all day and no pain or discomfort at all. They are showing no signs of wear anywhere and still look brand new. I’m confident these will last as long as a boot triple their cost. I liked them so much I ordered a second pair for when these fail.

good value for the price
It sucks that they want a review on an item you've just received. But here's my current impressions after a few days. Stiff, but surprisingly comfortable. Don't know if they'll soften up with more breaking-in time, but no worries. Arizona DMV requires a boot that covers the ankle for motorcycle testing, that's why I bought these. Most reviewers loved them, some said they fell apart quickly, I don't care as long as they get me through the test. If they last longer, rock on! We're currently in the middle of the February '19 cold blast, and they're warm and windproof enough to get me through the 30 degree mornings and rain, plus 8+ hours of working on cabinets and my feet aren't aching at the end of the day. With wide feet, narrow shoes get painful and I have to order extra wide most of the time, but regular wide is plenty roomy in these. I knocked off one star as they're currently almost as stiff as ski boots, but if they soften a bit with wear and/or last over six months, I'll definitely be buying them again, I'm pretty happy with them for the price!

Uncomfortably hard
I returned these within minutes of starting to use them. I bought them because they were cheap(er) and had a good rating on Amazon. I walk 30 minutes each way from the train station to my workplace and back to the station in the evening. That’s an hour of brisk walking five days a week. So I need comfortable shoes, to say the least.I put the boots on as “trial’ this morning. And then I got off the train and started walking. I could barely make it to the office. They are hard as rock, very uncomfortable, and fit too big based on astandard sizing scale (I always wear 8.5 US for all shoes). I was in so much pain halfway through my walk, that I hobbled the rest of the way to my desk. I have no idea how I am going to walk back to the station this evening, might have to pay for Uber (and the doctor, later). If you are going to use these boots for a few minutes if and when there is snow, then these may be ok for you. If you plan to get some real usage out of them, I strongly discourage you to buy these. You get what you pay for, I have learnt my lesson the hard way.

adequate for the money so far
I bought these boots primarily to wear while I do lawn care. I have a walk behind and a ZTR. I will also use them as general work boots. They are lighter than my current boots. They came with a cheap, flat removable insole and since it is so thin I just put my go to (Sole) inserts right in on top. They now fit better. Before, these boots were rather "roomy". The metal eyelets are not very smooth and therefore it's more difficult to get the laces tight, hopefully this will loosen up. Padding is adequate for a 50.00 pair of imported boots. The sole offers good traction. I wore them for the first time on two yards with my walk behind and they did fine. The real test came yesterday as I used my pressure washer to clean my trailer. These boots are claimed to be waterproof and after the pressure washer work, my feet were dry. So far, so good. If they last one season they will be a bargain.
