Good Mattress - but not for me!
I purchased this mattress over a year ago and I can honestly say that this is a great quality product. The only downside is that it is not made for "lighter" people... both my wife and I are quite small built (I am 65kgs and she is 48kgs) and I believe that this mattress is designed for 75+kgs people. The mattress is just too hard and we don't really feel the "foam effect", simply because we are not heavy enough to sink in. We both end up with dead arms in the morning! I am now looking for a mattress that would have a density nearer to our weight (i.e.: 65kg/m3 rather than this one which is 75kg/m3). But I still think that it is a great product.

If you're reading this - buy it!
Have moved house many times in the past 4 years with a new bed at every location. Sprung, duvan, futon, you name it. Eventually slept in a memory foam bed and decided to get one. Every major store plumbs it's own brand each with a heavy mark-up. Tested every model on the market, soft, firm , hollow center, cool-top. Many of these mattresses were £800 and up. I found this one, asked about the return policy and in a rush for a bed decided to order it. First of all it arrived very quickly, wasn't too heavy and opened to let it expand. It does take a good 24 hours to fully inflate but I slept on it after about 6 hours. It's actually nice to come back the next day to a fuller mattress than what you started with. All and I mean all memory foam mattresses have a strong foam chemical smell, but this dissipated in a couple of days. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever had. My partner is half my weight and neither of us struggle to sleep in it. It's a very good mattress for a very good price. I've been selling them to friends and family as if I've found something special. The free memory foam pillows are also very comfortable though smaller than conventional 'pillow tops' and again, give them a couple of days to expand and 'air' out the new smell. Forget brands that really mean 'margin'. This IS a good mattress, it is a steal at the price too. Love it, use it, buy it.

Hypnia 10 inch Memory Foam Mattress, Single...
Had to air out the mattress twice because it does pen and ink a bit; but it's very supportive and comfortable especially when your previous mattress was pony. Well worth the price I paid which was less than it is now, and I think it helped with my lower back-ache too.

This mattress is awful!
This mattress stinks, it smells so toxic! It gave me headaches and I had breathing problems. The toxic smell (similar to floor varnish or strong paint fumes) filled the house, even with all the windows open day and night (we slept in the spare bed waiting for the smell to go but it seems to remain).I dare not let me 2 year old son near the mattress as it just smells so toxic! The smell makes me feel sick as I walk up the stairs. Under the cover, the mattress looks even more cheap and nasty. If you care for your health I would not recommend this mattress.

Oh so comfy...
I was somewhat taken aback upon delivery when I unpacked the thing and found some shrink wrapped ultra-sized monotone spring roll looking thing, "This isn't what I ordered..." But with lots of hissing and such fuss, it filled out and left me thinking that I really ought to have positioned it on my bed before it filled out...I digress, this was quite possibly the best investment I've made, I have minor back issues, and insomniac tendencies... Honestly I just bought it because my last few mattresses were spring based and they ended up poking me in my sleep when the springs were liberated from their polyester prison, something that I was quite sure would not happen with foam. Needless to say, that hasn't happened, but what has happened is that I find myself sleeping easier and waking up less stiff than I did on my old mattresses.I've waited this long to review it because I wanted to see how it lasted alongside how it's benefited me, 6+ months after purchasing, I've noted no damage or deterioration to it or it's functionality. I'd recommend this to anyone, it's SOOOOOO comfy.

Good-night, sleep tight.......
We were looking at a small double bed for our daughter who has health issues and sleeping is a problem for her. We were delighted to find a 4ft mattress in the Hypnia Memeory Foam range. The price was very good so that clinched the decision to order. It arrived, rolled up and in a box, in record time. We didn't have time or space to unroll it days and days before putting in onto the new bed but it only took 24 hours to plump up to its correct size once it was unpacked. The unusual smell only lasted a few days. Now our daughter has space and comfort to sleep well supported and no pressure points to aggravate her sore joints, muscles etc. Not a lot of money to pay for a quality mattress = good value. Next purchase needs to be a 4ft 6inch double one so we will consider another Hypnia.

Brilliant!
Having received the mattress four days ago, so far I am delighted with it!I bought it for my four year old son's big boy bed.It arrived rolled in a medium sized box. I unwrapped it quickly and lay it out. At first it was thin and the outter case was sagging. Like magic it puffed up to full size right in front of my eyes. There was a slight chemically smell that was a bit like paint odor. I let it air for a day before putting it into place. The mattress is generous and firm and like laying on cloud. I have serious envy for my son's bed now and the first day I set it up I had a nap on there myself! Both me and my son have slept very well on it and both find it extremely comfortable. The mattress seems well made with a good case. Time will tell how it lasts but right now I am thrilled!

Cant beat memory foam, ditch the springs!
Well worth the money for the 75kg/m3 as have had 1 in past and cant beat the comfort and support. My daughter loves it and ill be getting 1 for myself too as mine is the softer 65kg/m3 which was ok for a short time as I couldnt find a good 75kg/m3 at a decent price but now I have its a no brainer to replace mine with 1 of these too. Definitely worth going for at least 10" deep. I hate being away from home where the spring generation need to join the memory foam revolution, we cant wait to get back to our memory foam beds, we suffer muscle pain etc with springs which doesn't make for enjoyable relaxing holidays.
