Needed the icecap to be cold more than one hour so the extra replacement ice packs do the trick nicely.

Purchased for my dad to prevent hair loss during his cancer treatments. He reports that he did not lose any hair as a result of the cool cap and frozen, reusable inserts. Buy an extra set of inserts for longer treatment to ensure full coverage.

Purchased as refills. Does not hold cold for very long. Ended up not being able to use because of that. I would have needed several more sets to last for the length of time needed.

It’s always good to have a spare. These don’t last long so you should always have more then one set.

Don't bother buying the hat that comes with it. Just get yourself two beanies and slide these in between. The little ones last about 2 hours and the big ones last about 4.

I have occipital neuralgia & have had it for over 10 years. This is the ONLY thing I get relief from. I would highly recommend ordering these extra gel packs so you can swap them in your Kap and always have some ready. Did it cure me? These ice packs are very well made and strong. They freeze well and are nice and cold for the Icekap hat. I haven’t used them hot as I only need them for cold. They fit perfectly into the hat so if you are looking for a replacement of the ice packs you got when you bought the icekap hat these are the ones.

I got this extra set to go inside my Icekap hat so that I can keep the cold on my head twice in one day. As some days .. unfortunately ... it be like that .. I just love it. Really helps to calm down those hot migraines and the shape of these fit into the hat nicely.

I have bought the cap that came with ice packs but if you are a sufferer like myself migraines last at times longer than the icepack before you need to switch it out and I am glad I bout this extra pack might even buy a third soon remember Health is Wealth!!
