How do I start the suction from the fish tank up the hose?

You connect it to your tap(faucet) and ensure the valve is pointing in the down direction, and then turn on the water full. This creates the vacuum required to draw the water out of that tank and into the hose.

How do you control water temperature

This device requires the use of a mixer tap (faucet) to maintain water temp. When you connect up you can test the temp of the water by running it via the connector prior to changing the switch to put the water through the hose. It is of course advised to continually check the temp of the water when adding to the tank. When you are using this device to drain the tank, the water temp is of no importance, as it is only used to create the 'draw' vacuum .

Is it ok to put water conditioner in after a water change

I'm afraid that really depends upon the type of aquarium you have, and the type of fish/plants that you have - There are many who believe that it is essential to add water conditioner in order to remove any harmful chemicals such as chlorine, which is generally in tap water, however others believe that it should always remain natural (i.e. remove chemicals with plant etc). There is no reason why you cannot add any conditioner solution directly to the water changer device, however you should really check with the guidance supplied by your particular conditioner product.

I have a neoperl tap aerator fitted on my tap, when i try to fit the reducer onto tap it does not fit correctly its close but much too tight, why?

Cannot say for certain from where i am!,however it could well be the particular thread cut into your tap.i remember having to use a plastic thread adapter to adjust the aqueon to one of my taps. Hope that helps a little.🤞
