Before this album came out there was a LOT of anticipation.Anyone who had been following the various obscure breadcrumbs along the trail to DEMA, deciphering the 'clues' and revelling in the shared discovery of associated facts and images, would have been ecstatic when this album first came out.Unfortunately, during the 'hiatus' Tyler Joseph found love and lost his angst. Thanks to the input from the immeasurably talented Paul Meany (aka Mutemath, a name that would be familiar to the clique) and the steadying presence of Mr. J. Dunn Esq. this album becomes a tale of two halfs.The front end has some exceptionally listenable (and, sadly, somewhat commercial) pieces. 'Part two' seems to harken back to the days when TOP talked to disenfranchised and emotionally vulnerable youth with a megaphone. Now it seems they only use a microphone like everyone else.It's really scary when you stop to ask the question: "Where can they go next?" I would dearly love to hear what the true Clique members feel about this. As a 57-year-old man with a youthful heart I could never dream of laying claim to being of their number. But I very much respect their opinion because they are ultimately the reason for the continued existence of TOP. Ultimately, they are the ones who will decide which direction we all take.

What can I say. Amazing song writing, amazing vocals. Tyler Joseph, you are a genius. I'm speaking as a die hard fan here but this album would appeal to anyone. I love, love, love every song. Well worth the wait. LOVE THEM.
