How can one person love an ice cream scoop so much? Not only is this cute as a button, but this is the smartest scoop I've ever seen. I mean, it's an ice cream scoop, but I had no idea how much better it would make my life. Sounds a little over-the-top, but after years of scoops that break (the ones with the little bars in the scoop), ruin in the dishwasher (the heated ones), and skid across the surface of hard ice cream (most of them), this is such an aggravation-saver.First of all, it's just a cute little scoop. As for features, the hand is ergonomically designed to best help you get your digging on, and it's weighted, so when you rest it on the counter, the silver scoop never touches the surface but rests securely on two raised little prongs. This scoop has heft, which helps you get the most perfect spherical balls of a ice cream, no matter how densely frozen. Of course, it's even easier if you run it under a little hot water first, but you don't have to. That's the beauty of this scoop. I love it and would recommend it to everyone. Great construction and high quality.

Excellent ice cream scoop! Feels substantial, and well made. Our previous scoop was similar, and was purchased at Cracker Barrel 10 years ago. It was accidentally put in the dishwasher, last month. It now has micro bubbles in the coating. This looks a little better made, cleans up easily. I will not temp fate and put this one in the dishwasher. I wish the handle was an inch or two longer to match the old. It shouldn't take long to get used to the shorter length.It cuts through hard ice cream better than our old mechanical one, which broke. My husband likes the feet on the bottom, which keeps the ice cream off of the table. Easier cleanup. Fun colors, too!

I have always sworn by those scoops that have a swishing bar to push out the ice cream but then I bought this. Then I bought a second because I liked the first so much. This scoop is a good weight, easy to use, and slides through the iciest of ice creams creating the perfect scoop! The best part is that the scoop rests on the counter using its "stand" so you don't get your counter sticky and messy. I recommend this and all Tovolo products!!

Its sturdy and the color is great! But it is not practical. The stand gets ice cream on it and then it makes a mess when you set it down.

The previous reviewer wasn't kidding. This thing rocks! Why did I spend my life bending all manner of spoons when this heavy, organic, perfect scooping machine was only a click away. Solid, easy to clean, rests on its own little feet, an so pretty I leave it out to be admired like a work of art.Get it: you will not be sorry.

Colorful, sturdy and well made, but I HATED it.ALL the weight is in the metal scoop, but the handle is too short to compensate and create balance. As a result, it felt extremely clumsy and annoying to use. Sent it back immediately.

It's AMAZING!🍨 This ice cream scoop is precision balanced with a nice weight that slides down the ice cream like its butter or perhaps cheese. You can heat up the silver scoop just with hot water and between scoops you can set it back in the water instead of on the counter.😜 🍧 When you are ready to put it down on the counter it looks so sweet you'll want it anywhere. I love it cause my darling is always smiling when he's trying to scoop Ice Cream now, but before he was miserable.🍨 Not to mention me with my delicate girly hands and fingers, they can't even do it the old way, but this way I CAN SECRETLY AND QUICKLY TAKE ICE CREAM WITHOUT ANYONE CATCHING ME. And it's easy to clean and put down anywhere because anywhere it sits it looks nice, so there's no evidence.😜 "Oh what do you mean why is the ice cream finished darling? Must concur with other reviewers that plating comes off. Ordered by mistake but decided to keep, hand washed and placed in drawer with other kitchen tools, not used for months. Pulled it out to use today, and the plating is rough feeling and cracked in bowl of scoop, so never used and certainly never placed in dishwasher. Very poor design but glad I discovered this and never used, as I presume the plating comes off in your ice cream to be potentially consumed. Ugggh.

Super strong durable, this is our second one. Replacing same one that was over 5 years old as it started to develop small cracks in the plastic handle.

I got the pink colour because it was much cheaper than the other colour options, and I love it! It has been perfectly designed to make scooping effortless, even against the hardest most frozen of ice creams.
