This fast-paced British thriller stars Tom Harper (Blood And Chocolate, Telstar) as Adam, a gay teacher swept up in a national scandal that starts when his mysterious one-night stand shows up dead - and leads all the way to the British Royal family. In his desperate race to discover the killer, Adam's every move is tracked through the streets of London by hundreds of closed circuit cameras. An exhilarating, edge-of-your-seat mystery, Surveillance 24/7 co-stars a tremendous British cast including Brit star Dawn Steele ("Monarch of the Glen"), Sean Brosnan (Pierce Brosnan's son) and film icon Simon Callow. From the first frame to the last, director Paul Oremland (Like It Is) crafts a paranoid tale that is at once terrifying and wildly entertaining.

Hard to follow
Although I enjoyed the movie it is definitely hard to follow the plot.So if you are planning on a make out session this is not the movie.I like it because it tries to merge other genre and it is not just "another gay movie"there is suspense!and it makes you think. what will the future hold?!

Young actors doing a great job!
I wished Americans learned how to do good movies with young actors the way the British do. Let them speak!

A suspenseful thriller
A suspenseful thriller filled with twists and turns and a surprise ending. I was completely caught up in the unfolding story. The point is made at the opening of the film that CCTV is everywhere - from public bus and train services to private businessestablishments, especially retail stores. It is possible to track a "target" from point A to point B very easily. And that is how a few people are able to keep an eye on Adam, mild-mannered IT teacher at a private school for boys.Adam spends the night with a guy who ends up dead because he had a secret that involved somebody in the Royal Family. The establishment (i.e. the government of the day, as distinct from the Royal Family - who have no control over such things) did not care about the secret as long as it was secret but the establishment does care about the not-so-veiled threats of Adam’s one night stand to make the secret public. But the documentation is not found on the guy after his demise because Adam apparently picked up the guy’s phone by mistake, not realising he already had his own phone stuffed away.it takes a while for Adam to realise that more than one group of people are after him and they start making things rather difficult for him.The final scene is very climactic and presents a twist ending that was not expected. In the end, everything does up normal and safe for Adam. No real harm has been done except for one of his best friends bring killed. In terms of technicalities, the direction is fine, The story is good, and the acting ranges from very good to excellent. Tom Harper stands out as the pursued Adam and Fawn Steele is perfect as Adam’s ex-girlfriend/reporter.There is a unique plot in this film that is a more or less simple melodrama. Don’t look for deep meaning or detailed motivation, or you will enjoy the film less. The film is truly suspenseful and I was on the edge of my seat throughout. At times it was a little confusing, but not so much that it spoiled the enjoyment of the film. The « Behind the Scenes » is great. The actors talk about their experiences on the set and the writers and director give insight into the evolution of the screenplay.Don’t miss this engaging thriller.

Fun to watch, but don't think too hard about it
The thing about plot-driven movies is that they have to have a tight plot, which this doesn't.It's fun to watch. It does a very good job of being very matter-of-fact about the lead character's gayness. The movie isn't about "being gay", but it is central to the story, which is nice if you like gay flicks. The editing is fun and creative, and the characters are fun to watch. Pretty boys, pretty girls, fun accents, good actors, nice lighting. Music was OK, but not particularly wonderful, and sometimes it was intrusive or not quite right. It seemed pensive sometimes - think piano bar and violin - and this wasn't a pensive movie. This might be a spoiler alert here:But the key part of the story is this cell phone, and everybody's looking for it, but the thing is, this movie is about constant surveillance, but no one thinks to triangulate on the cell phone? And the ending twister makes the whole movie totally stupid. At the end, what was the point? I totally didn't get it. And why did they try to "warn him" with a near-miss, if all they needed to do was ask him for the cell phone? It's not like they didn't know he had it, or where he was?!?There is a real movie to be made about living in a pan-opticon society, but this isn't it. If you like watching pretty people running and emoting, this is an OK movie.
