The lock arrived quickly from Base Camp One. The problem was that I couldn't work out how set my own combination number. Apparently the lock is sold without instructions. Base Camp One responded within ten minutes to my e-mailed request for help and the problem was solved. Top marks to them for that. My daughter has been using the lock in NZ and she is pleased with it, but you do need to search out a suitable place (like the end of a ski rack) where the wire can be passed around a secure object at the height of the bindings.
