Heating my house

Starts heating water quickly. Takes a minute for heated water to reach faucet. I don't think my dishwasher will get hot water after initial fill again. So far, seems like a good water heater.Update:Have had this in use for nearly 2 years & still performs flawlessly! When showering in the summer, I have to turn hot water (just a small stream) on in the sink to keep heater from turning off(I live in phx, AZ so I take cool showers in the summer).My gas bill was about $30/mo before installing this & since installing it it's $14 or $15/mo-this unit is paying for itself.Only issue I've had is with the remote control(purchased separately)- when I first hooked it up, I was able to set temp to 140°. Once I lowered that temp to 120°, it can't be set above 120°, or below 115°-technically that isn't the water heater(made by same company as heater)

This brand was recommended by a plumber friend. So far so good. My previous house had a professionally installed Takagi Jr installed. The features are similar the only down side (to us) is the temperature doesn't go as low as the other one did. With the controller (also an add-on for the Takagi) the minimum is 115 with this and 99 with the Takagi Jr. We often operated ours at 104-108 (depending on time of year) which matched perfectly with our showers saving gas and slowing the buildup of deposits on the heat exchanger. I coupled this with a scale inhibitor cartridge. The price difference between this and the others isn't significant but it was recommended by a plumber for the ease in getting parts if needed (available at the local supply house.)

First time installing a tankless water heater. So easy to install I will never buy a standard tank water heater again. Plugged in to house current turned on the water, and it did the rest.

Price are good, quality are good, works on 2 bath simultaneously, much better then tank water heater. do not hesitate.. replace yours.

The packaging was very shoddy and there was absolutely nothing protecting the bottom portion of the water heater. You can see by all of the dents in the cover in the pictures.

Received NR50ODLG, when the description was NR50ODNG. I have natural gas. Connecting a water heater designed to use LG = liquid petroleum gas (propane tanks) would be dangerous since wouldn't burn correctly. Good that I noticed that (labels on the water heater) before installing. Amazon's system didn't offer to send the correct part, so I'm back to square one.
