Being that I'm going through menopause, the fan is a life saver. It does blow out cool air. It's a bit loud after speed 3-5 but it's tolerable. The battery life is long depending on the speed of the fan. It's pretty comfortable around the neck. It's not too bulky. Overall it works pretty well. The price is affordable also.
