After weeks of researching all of the different brands and styles of Tesla sun shades, I decided to try this one out due to the positive reviews and ease of use, and the review were not wrong!Initially, these sun shades came with a bag of plastic clips, and I was a bit confused as to how people were getting this to fit so snugly into the gaps between the trim and glass roof.. After one of the clips snapped onto the edge of the sun shade I was able to figure it out! There aren't any instructions included, which is why I'm writing this review to prevent people from returning it!*PRO TIP: The clips MUST snap onto the edges of the sunshade, or it will not hold or mount properly to the roof of the vehicle, that is the key to success!! Also, the metallic side of the sunshade goes toward the sun/glass roof!Don't worry about the wrinkles in the fabric, a few hot days will smooth the wrinkles out.. or if you really can't stand wrinkles.. lightly steaming the fabric with an iron will also remove them, but avoid touching the hot iron directly to the fabric to avoid any burning or damage!After installing these sun shades, there was an immediate difference in heat reduction, I no longer need to set my AC to 73 on fan speed 4-5, as 78-79 on fan speed 2-3 is now comfortable while it's 95+ degrees outside. I plan on using these all summer, and removing them in the fall when the temperatures drop. These easily fit into the same storage bag as my window shades and I store everything in my rear cargo compartment.These were totally worth the price, these are great quality, great fit and coverage, very effective at cooling the interior on blazing hot days, and I would definitely purchase these again!I hope this review helps someone, or prevents some returns.. I recently got a shade cover for my Tesla Model Y, and I’m really happy with it. It fits perfectly over the glass roof and makes a big difference on hot days. My car stays much cooler, and I don’t worry as much about the sun damaging the interior. It was super easy to install, took me maybe 10 to 15 minutes, and it stays in place really well. The mesh still lets in some light, but it blocks the harsh sun, and the reflective panels are great for extra heat protection when needed. You can’t see the sky as clearly through the roof with it on, but the comfort is totally worth it. Definitely a smart buy if you park outside a lot or live somewhere sunny.
