Great for Concrete and Pavers in the PNW Rains
I recently used MasonryDefender Concrete Sealer on our concrete pavers and patio, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results. Living in the Pacific Northwest, where rain is a constant, our patio and driveway were constantly getting soaked and stained. After applying this Silane Siloxane-based sealer, the difference has been remarkable.Water Repellency & Protection:The sealer is incredibly effective at creating a deep, penetrating barrier that prevents water from soaking into the concrete. After application, I noticed that water now beads up and rolls off the surface, even with the heavy, consistent rains we get here. It's like our patio has a protective shield against moisture, which not only keeps the surface dry but also prevents potential damage from water infiltration, such as cracks and discoloration.Easy to Apply & Long-Lasting:Applying the sealer was straightforward, and the 2.5-gallon size was more than enough to cover our entire patio and driveway. It dries quickly and doesn’t leave any sticky residue or odd finish—just a smooth, invisible protection that doesn’t alter the appearance of the concrete. I’m confident it will provide long-lasting protection for our surfaces, especially during the wet months when they are most vulnerable.Great for Concrete Pavers:We also have concrete pavers in our backyard, and this sealer has been fantastic for them as well. The pavers no longer absorb water, which means no more staining or deterioration from rainwater.Overall:I’m thoroughly pleased with the MasonryDefender Concrete Sealer and would highly recommend it to anyone in the Pacific Northwest (or anywhere with a lot of rain) who wants to protect their concrete and pavers. It’s an excellent investment to keep your outdoor spaces looking great and standing up to the elements year-round!

Great Product
First time to use it in the concrete floor of a new shop. Easy to apply with a pump spray and wand. Finished application for a 16x24 shop within one hour. I thought I would need to apply a second coat but not necessary. It sealed with one application. Dried with 6 hours.I power washed the concrete floor before the application, let it dry and applied the sealer the next day. Perfect!

Reviews are true
I read through most of the reviews, good and bad, and both sides are correct. I used the product on my concrete patio that has previously been powerwashed. The product does repel rain and water very well, I‘m happy with the outcome and will probably repeat the process once a year. It was easy to apply and only took me 10 minutes. The bad news is that I did get some staining due to overapplication in some areas that I sprayed twice. But that was my mistake. The staining looks like it is wet, it‘s not ugly or oily stains. I will buy it again

Good sealant
I reviewed many products before going with this one. It's a bit pricey, but it works! I used it on my driveway and it looks so much better, even months later. It hasn't gotten dingy and dirty looking as it has prior to sealing it. It's easy to use and has lasted several months.

Waterproof
This did exactly what it needed to do. Waterproof my patio. After cleaning and adding it to the area. It dried quickly and when it rained it just beaded up . Definitely waterproof:)

Great product, I am very pleased....
Great product, I am very pleased with the product. I used it on a concrete pad I had put down for dog kennel. It was easy to apply, dried quickly and I had no stains on my new concrete (as reported by others). Additionally, is covered much more area than I thought it would so now I some I can use around my pool.I am very pleased with the product.

Best product for the price!!!
This is the best product for this price to seal concrete! It didn’t make our concrete look any different after application, and a month later after plenty of heavy rain, it still works great and the concrete still looks as clean as the day we first applied the sealer. When we bought it initially, we applied only to our back patio, but were so impressed we went to buy more for our driveway and it was sold out. We bought a different brand at the same price for the driveway and it hasn’t been nearly as good. I don’t think you can go wrong with this - literally as good as Siloxa Tek Ghost Shield at a huge fraction of the cost! Keep up the great work, Masonry Defender!

Blotchy appearance
18-year old concrete driveway in great shape. Cleaned according to specifications. The cleaned driveway looked great! Took off the rust and then used the cleaner. Tried 3 different application methods - (1) backpack sprayer only, (2) backpack sprayer and back brushing, and (3) a 3/4 nap paint roller. Nothing I tried changed the bad results. It does appear to repel water as I can see it bead up nicely. But it just looks horrible. My technique was very even with no pooling. The surface could best be described as blotchy. I’ll update this review with photos when it stops raining here. I think it might work fine on a perfectly new driveway. Beware if your concrete has some years on it.
