MSR IMPORTS Dog Car Seat Extender - Safer More Comfortable Back Seat Platform with Storage

I got this to make a bench for in between two captain chairs in our 2023 Toyota sienna. It’s perfect and I store emergency clothes for the kids, water and first aid kits in the storage compartment. My kids love that they can easily access a bin of toys and books without having to ask me to give it to them. Highly recommend for a different purpose than intended.

I have 2 70-80 pound boxers who roam the backseat constantly during a drive. These have held up really well under their weight, and the dogs are finally not falling off the seats at every turn! I use them in a large SUV, and they fill the space nicely. Just wish there was another smaller version to fit in the middle console area.

This product is such a great idea. Our dogs seem to always slip into the area between the fold-flat seats and the front seats in our SUV when we travel because they like to be near us. Unfortunately, no matter how hard we tried to block the area, things shift and one of my dogs ended up with a back injury. These storage units fit perfectly between the seats and sit high enough to keep the dogs safe. Plus, they have amazing, adjustable storage inside. it has changed our travel lives! My one and only criticism, is that I wish the structure is a little bit stronger as it can bend from the pressure of a 90-lb dog.

I see the negative reviews and I'm not sure if I got a fluke one or of they did. I've had the organizer for almost a year now, no rips or tears. I have 3 dogs that sit and lay on it in the back seat and it's been so helpful to stay organized with all their items.

Unfortunately, the first time I squeezed it between the front seat and back bench, one of the seams busted. So, the sewing work on the fabric cover is pretty garbage. But the stability of the inside works. I haven't used it for storage, but it looks like it can hold 6 liter-size bottles at once with the inner matrix installed. This is light weight but it supports two 65-pound dogs. I prefer this to the hammock design because the dogs get more space and these can easily be picked up for passengers to sit on the back bench. It can be collapsed too, too take up less space when stored, but it takes time to collapse and then rebuild.The top is slippery, but I put a long bathroom rug on top of it and that gives good grip!

We have a new Subaru Forester and wanted to take a weekend snow trip to the mountains. We had an inflatable seat extender and didn't really like it. Therefore, we purchased two of these. Our seat-belted chocolate labs were able to comfortably lay down. The extenders are solid and made very well. We were able to use the zippered compartment to store their toys, bowls, etc. with enough room for some of our items as well. Other extenders fill the space in lieu of providing the additional storage. That makes this highly functional item a great buy. I can't recommend it enough.

Waste of money! It's a bit flimsy, but I expected that for price. I bought two to travel with my pets for the holidays. Problem is, it does not fit in floor board of front seat or back seat so it cannot be used for the purpose intended. It's too long. If it did fit, the height would not meet up with seat to be level. It's too tall. I have a small SUV. Very disappointed! I guess I will use them for storage in a closet. Ugh! Measure your space first!

I was looking for a backseat extender for my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Hard to find as that area is smaller than most SUVs. I'm short so it fits perfectly behind the drivers seat. The inside has dividers so great for storage, but most importanly, I have 2 labs that I transport and they love having the extra room. I will certainly buy another one for the passenger side.
