These things Kick!! Just got these and had a dj gig same day. When I plugged them in the first thing I thought was Wow these things kick, I had to turn down my headphone volume which stays in the same position typically, so I can proudly say loudness is not an issue with these. Bass response is very impressive, felt like I’m “hearing” low end that I don’t normally perceive which was nice for mixing. I didn’t have time to charge these before my four hour gig and surprisingly they came with enough charge to last me the whole gig. Love the modular nature of these headphones makes me feel secure knowing if one piece of my cans were to fail or be mishandled I could just replace a piece and not the whole pair. And Wow couldn’t believe that there is no noticeable latency on this wireless system. I actually used them to listen at home because I loved the sound so much. 10/10 would recommend and buy again! Do It!

Really solid modular design that gets an A+ in my book. My issue is with the headphones when switching from bluetooth to RX mode it can have some issues and take a couple minutes to make the swap over which is way too much time when I am in the DJ booth. If you leave them on RX mode and ignore the bluetooth mode or don't forget to swap them before showing up at your gig than you will be set. My biggest issue is the sound quality. I am coming from a set of VModa M-100 headphones and the sound quality wired or wireless just sounds entry level. There are plenty of $100 cans that have a crispier high end and much rounder full low end for DJing that I would prefer over these. The last issue that is not affecting my star review is the fact that there are just more pieces too loose now when traveling too and from a gig. I find the detachable cable is nowhere near the quality of the VModa headphones as well. I also find the ear pads too small that wearing for more than an hour and my ears get very fitigued and hurt. This might warrant an upgrade to the studio style over the ear pads. Comfort and sound quality is much more important to me than the ability to walk an away from the DJ booth. I have over 20 years of DJing tethered to the mixer and that doesn't bother me. I am there to DJ and not to be walking around the venue. For this personal reason these are not for me and will be getting returned. I suggest you try them out yourself though! Keep innovating Aiaiai, I think a budget option to Alpha-Theta cans is a must and you have a great alternative.

These work better than I expected. There is 0 lag and the sound is incredible. The battery life is also impressive. I worked on recordings for several hours, left they headphones and transmitter on all night, and still had hours of battery life left. This also comes with a 1/4" adaptor, which is very secure. I've put hours of work in with this set up and haven't had any issues. I am finally free to roam. They are a bit tight, but that says more about the size of my head than the headphones.

Worst headphones ever: 1). Audio quality in wireless mode is utterly appalling. 2). Head-fit is unacceptable – a head tilt forward or back and they fall off. 3). Instructions are pathetic – a few printed lines on the inner box directing the user to a website. 4). Too many functions on one button and one light – nothing marked and not intuitive. These headphones are completely unusable in club DJ performance environment. Live with a headphone cord to your controller and forget this turkey.

These are great. I almost sent them back as they were super tight but after they broke in, I am glad I kept them. They do get loud if needed.

As a DJ They work as described. My one worry was if I could place the ear piece on outward as I like to slip the headphones over my shoulder so I can put my right ear in and out of the head phone as I mix. I would suggest this for anyone who wants to go wireless John D

Ich hatte bislang schon viele Kopfhörer - mein Hauptaugenmerk lag bislang auf robuster Bauweise, ein geringes Gewicht und auf einem relativ ausgewogenen Klang. Die teilweise unerträgliche Betonung im Tiefenbereich war und ist für mich unzumutbar. Beim Auflegen finde ich es nicht so hilfreich und beim Musikhören nervt es sehr. Meine Erfahrung mit DJ-Kopfhörer bislang: Technics RP-DJ1210E-S + Bequem + Sehr guter Klang + Robust - Keine Original-Ersatzteile mehr - Teile sehr schwer bis gar nicht austauschbar Pioneer DJ HDJ-C70 + Sehr leicht + Sehr guter Klang + Robust (wenn auch etwas wackelig) + Teile leicht auszutauschen - Die Gummierung löst sich auf und wird klebrig - Keine Original-Ersatzteile mehr verfügbar (obwohl anfangs damit beworben, gab es nur Ohrpolster zu kaufen, die bereits 2-3 Jahre später nicht mehr zu kriegen waren - Nachbaupolster sind bei AliExpress und Temu verfügbar, passen aber nicht, da die Löcher für die Clips fehlen) Sennheiser HD-25 + Sehr robust + Ersatzteile auch nach Jahren noch zu bekommen + Teile sind relativ einfach austauschbar - Klang besteht nur aus matschigem Bass und überspitzten Höhen, Mittenfrequenzen fehlen komplett Technics EAH-DJ1210 + Robust, das war's (und dennoch klappriger als der Vorgänger) - Katastrophaler Klang, nur Bass, Bass, Bass - Ersatzteile ebenso schwer zu bekommen wie beim "Original" - Teile lassen sich nicht austauschen (wer glaubt, einen gleichwertigen und ehrwürdigen Ersatz für die RP-DJ12x0 zu bekommen, wird maßlos enttäuscht) Aiaiai TMA-2 + Robust + Ersatzteile einfach zu bekommen und bezahlbar + Konfigurierbar + Teile auszutauschen ist ein Kinderspiel - Mieser Klang, wie beim Sennheiser Ein neuer Kopfhörer musste also am besten alle Pluspunkte der Vorgänger haben und keines der Negativpunkte. An sich bereits eine kaum lösbare Aufgabe. Der TMA-2 DJ Wireless schickt sich auch noch, das alles kabellos zu machen? Sollte unmöglich sein, oder? Und warum sollte der Klang, der mir bei der kabelgebundenen Variante schon nicht gefiel, jetzt plötzlich besser sein? Ganz einfach: Soundprofile in der App! Im Balanced-Mode klingt der Kopfhörer richtig gut - nicht ganz so toll wie der RP-DJ1210 oder C70, aber dennoch gut. Dazu kommt die bei Aiaiaiai bekannte, modulare Bauweise und die bisherige Erkenntnis, dass in den letzten 10 Jahren die Verfügbarkeit an Ersatzteilen vorbildlich war und sich (mit einer guten Prise Optimismus) es auch in den nächsten 10+ Jahren so bleiben wird. Hoffen wir also, dass Aiaiai als Hersteller noch laaange überlebt. Damit sind tatsächlich alle Pluspunkte erfüllt und wir können uns der eigentlichen Neuigkeit widmen: Die (verdammt ungewohnte!) Kabelfreiheit. Es fühlt sich falsch an - denn irgendwie hat man sich an die Kabel gewöhnt. Das gilt zumindest für mich, der seit 1997 dem DJ-Hobby frönt. Das ist auch das einzige, was irgendwie anders ist. Ansonsten funktioniert es erstaunlich gut. Der (komprimierte) Klang ist gut die Reichweite liegt (in der Wohnung) bei gut 10-15 Metern. Sobald man außerhalb der Range ist, hört man digitale Artefakte, die sich bei Annäherung an den Transmitter wieder auflösen. Die Latenz ist sehr gut. Selbst in Kombination mit einem DVS, das zusätzliche Latenzen mitbringt, kann man ohne Probleme und spür-/hörbare Verzögerungen auflegen. Minimale Korrekturen an den Schallplatten werden sofort wiedergegeben und es entsteht nicht das Gefühl, als wenn die Manipulationen sich vom Gehörten lösen. Die Batterielaufzeit von versprochenen 20 Stunden wird locker eingehalten. Ich habe es nicht mit einem Timer festgehalten, aber Anhand der Mengen und Längen der Sessions, die ich schon gespielt habe, knackt man diese Dauer ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken. Und sollten die Akkus mit der Dauer mal nachgeben, wird die Spieldauer für "normal lange" DJ-Sets mehr als ausreichend sein und bei Bedarf kauft man ein neues Modul. Kurz: Besser hätte man einen kabellosen Kopfhörer nicht gestalten können. Man merkt einfach, dass es sich nicht um einen Massenhersteller handelt, sondern um eine relativ kleine Manufaktur, bei dem man sich ein wirklich brauchbares Konzept erdacht und konsequent in die Tat umgesetzt hat. Noch etwas zum Klang: Die Einstellungen in der App wirken sich wirklich auf den Sound aus und es ist nicht einfach nur ein Gimmick, was entsprechend individuelle Klangeigenschaften erzeugen lässt. Natürlich gibt es Limitierungen, die die Hardware mit sich bringt - es sind immer noch geschlossene Kopfhörer mit starker, passiver Abschirmung und einem strammem Sitz - aber dennoch lässt sich alles fein genug einstellen, dass man mehr oder weniger alle Kopfhörer, die ich je hatte, simulieren kann. Ein großer Pluspunkt! Zudem werden die Einstellungen direkt im Kopfhörer gespeichert. Keine lästige Neukonfiguration bei jeder Nutzung und damit (fast) kein App-Zwang. Unerwartet kam noch hinzu, dass man die Kopfhörer auch Kabelgebunden betreiben kann. Selbst wenn der Akku komplett durch ist, holt man in Sekundenschnelle das Kabel aus der Tasche und macht weiter. Angesicht der gebotenen Qualität, der einwandfrei funktionierenden App mit wirklich sinnvollen Klangeinstellungen, der guten Umsetzung der Wireless-Funktionalität und der (erwartbaren) langen Lebensdauer ist auch der Preis (aktuell EUR 300) sehr angemessen. Volle Empfehlung für alle und verdiente 5/5 Sternen in allen Kategorien. P.S.: Es gibt doch ein klitzekleines Manko - der Quick-Start-Guide lügt :) Anscheinend wurde das Pairing und der Wechsel zwischen dem DJ-geeigneten "W+ Modus" und der normalen Bluetooth-Funktionalität mal geändert. Wer ewig den Joystick gedrückt hält und auf Ergebnisse wartet, wird enttäuscht. Erst auf der Aiaiai-Webseite findet man eine Anleitung, die vom Quick-Start abweicht: Man schaltet den Kopfhörer über den Joystick ein, dann hält man diesen "nach rechts" - erst dann wird zwischen den beiden Modi umgeschaltet und neu Verbunden. Dafür natürlich keinen Punktabzug - nur ein Hinweis für alle, die zunächst (wie ich) daran verzweifeln.

These things are insanely good. Was surprised when I first got them. Every part in in a separate bag. Seriously its like a mini Christmas opening them. The instructions are clear and foolproof, which was handy. Once assembles I hiked them up and was a little disappointed in the default sound profile. It was slightly empty sounding but then I used the app to tune them and wow. These things are LOUD. The cup seal isolates everything around you, the cups are really comfortable and don't get sweaty which as a nice surprise. The headband clamping force is high, almost too high but it is still comfortable. I couldn't tell the difference between these wireless and my senheiser wired for latency. There is no perceptible latency at all. They charge very quickly and last forever. On Bluetooth they are really loud too. Still not sure if they have a mic for calls but for just muis they are insanely good. The fact that they are modulate means that you can customise them to your exact liking and if something breaks you just buy that module instead of a whole new pair. Yes they are a little pricy to start but they are the best headphones I've owned in over 30 years of djing. Definitely worth it
