Crestline Products Big Book Easel 48 x 24

I use it in my first grade classroom. like that it is lightweight and foldable. I fold it and keep it leaning against the wall tucked away behind my desk. When it is time for Shared Reading with my big book, I just pull it out and use it. We use one big book for the week and I like having the rungs on the back of this stand to hang the big book for the week and also the big books I’ll be using over the next several weeks. One of the things I don’t like are the two wooden pegs that hold the big book on the wooden tray as you read the book. Those pegs make it harder to turn the pages as you read the book. I wish it just had a wider ledge on the tray to set the book and no pegs. Overall, it has served its purpose for me at an inexpensive price and it’s nice to tuck away so it’s not this big, cumbersome stand taking up valuable space in your classroom.

This is a good simply made big book easel for maybe a center. It’s not super heavy so easily portable around the classroom and folds for easy storage. The only thing that I wish they had done was to include the screws and bolts for the shelf. What the heck?

The easel is a nice size and will work for what I need. The only thing that was disappointing was that it came in two pieces (the shelf to hold big books and the easel) with no hardware included to put these two together.

I have used this type of big book stand before and it works fine. However, this arrived with paint trays and not the big book ledge. The paper with the company information and phone number is cut off at the bottom and I can not find anyway to contact Crestline products to just get the correct piece. Very frustrated.

Do not buy flimsy and tipsy beware teachers

Awful! Arrived broken.... made of cheap balsa "wood" that's like styrofoam; pegs missing, wood tray had a huge split down the middle and was falling apart; metal hardware all bent up; EXTREMELY overpriced!! Probably cost them 5 bucks to make and I paid $53 plus $10 shipping!! I sent it back!!

I like the easel, but it arrived with a crushed/dented corner and the whiteboard surface was peeling. I'm not sure when the easel was damaged because the box did not have a dent in it. I am very disappointed and was unable to return it because my students are arriving soon.
