I was skeptical but this thing puts out a lot of cool air. So far we havent had weather above 80 degrees F but I have not needed to use the lowest setting either. temperature setting works for me. the more effort you put in to weatherproofing the window, the better the machine will function. i used duct tape on the hose attachment points because they are not air tight and it will exhaust heat into the room. pretty noisy but so are my neighbors so no issue there for me personally. it is probably comparable decible rating to a window unit. good value considering the effectiveness and necessity of it. pretty straightforward set up. I use the high fan setting to try and send the cold air into other rooms.

It is already broke. it worked one week and now doesn’t blow cold air. i’ve insulated the hose and drained water build up, all of it. A complete waste of money. i’m a broke college student so this is like a huge let down. i saved for this.

Amazing little A/C! Keeps out bedroom cool.

Works well for the apartment I'm in. Can be loud depending on the level you have it on. Drains well into a bucket. Easy to move to and from windows especially when you're in new York and have crazy weather transitions
