I have used Tickless for a few years on my dog and the one for people for me. I can only recall having one tick on my dog last October and I live in a grassy field and she always came in with ticks until wearing this on her collar. Even with vet-prescribed spot-on products, ticks still took a ride on her and only died after she was bitten. With Tickless, they avoid her completely...and me too! I opted for the rechargeable model this time as I am ordering it to last all the way through tick "season" which in my state is until we've had a hard freeze in late January.
