OUTDOORSMAN 100% Waterproof Socks, Highly Breathable, Windproof, Knee Length

These socks are great for keeping your feet dry and keeping ticks and bugs away. I work as a groundskeeper during the summer, and I am always looking for new products to make my job/life more comfortable. The Stryde socks do just that.One thing that really sold me on them is the sizes available. I wear a size 14, and I struggle finding footwear that fit properly, but these socks fit and go on and off easily, and the sizing goes up to 14.5. Many similar product's largest size is a 12.They have a good elastic band to keep them high on your leg, but they're not too tight. And they're thick enough to keep bugs from biting your ankles and legs, but still breathable for working out in the heat. And even working in wet grass that soaked my shoes, these socks kept my feet dry. I worked last night weed whacking tall, wet grass around a pond, and my legs/feet were still dry, and I wasn't all chewed up by bugs like I usually am when I do that job.You can also push them down and wear them as normal socks. I did some indoor painting while wearing these socks, and they're very light and comfortable. I forgot I even had them on! They're not bulky or cumbersome like some other outdoor socks I've tried, and they're not too thick in your shoes like some wool socks.I think these socks will also be really great for some late fall cold, damp, Midwest hunting, and will be recommending them to some of my turkey and deer hunter friends.

They worked great for our 3 day backpacking trip that consisted of walking in the water 50% of the time. They kept your feet warm in freezing cold water and dry other than your normal sweating you'd do. The only draw back to these is that the water proof liner is very very thin. So any rocks that you get in your shoes you need to get them out ASAP! One of mine got a small puncture hole in them and my foot got wet. It wasn't a ton of water getting to my foot but enough to let water in and my foot be wet.If you buy these just be extremely careful with rocks getting in your shoes!!!

Love these socks. I purchased them for a trip to London. And you know it rains in London all of the time. I wanted a pair of warm, waterproof socks because I was wearing a walking boot and didn't want my exposed foot to be cold and wet. These socks worked like a charm. We were out in the rain in 30-40 degree F weather and my foot stayed warm and dry. I purchased them in a slightly larger size than normal so I could wear a pair of thin socks underneath. I did not end up needing to wear the socks underneath but could have if necessary. I cannot speak to how these socks will perform long term since I've only worn them once.

I bought these for my husband whos in the military. When he stays out in the field or does any outdoors, his feet often end up cold and or wet. I wanted to surprise with something useful and came across these. He used them for the first time last week when staying overnight outside in snow and said the socks saved his feet, that they kept them dry and kept his feet warm. He was overly amazed and impressed by them.I don't think you'll regret this purchase!

The right foot was puffy in the front and I could not make it proper. The left side fit was OK. Anyhow, I wore this under my garden boots and started working out in wet location and some water got inside my boots. My right foot got wet and water got trapped inside the puffy part. This was WORSE than not wearing any sock at all. I think I might have been just unlucky and got a defective pair. I examined and it seems like the seams on side of the toe part of the socks might be the problem. It did seem very light and comfortable BEFORE water got in. really wish it worked as advertised. I will email the seller and update the review. For now, this is a big disappointment.

These are everything I expected and was hoping to get. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because I have only worn them once so I can't know how durable they are.

I've been looking for a pair of waterproof socks for kayaking. 5 stars, awesome product, absolutely no complaints at all. I stood fully submerged in (COLD!) water up to my shins for about 30 seconds before getting in and out my boat, wearing only water shoes as a foot covering. In comparison to products made specifically for paddle sports, these socks are much less expensive and much higher quality.

Use these socks on a recent kayaking trip. Many times in and out of the water. No wet feet!
