Fantastic new concept of language teaching/;learning! And with thousands of model sentences, with translations!

I speak conversational Swedish but am far from fluent. However, my language comprehension is strong enough to spot the unbelievable numbers of absurd translation mistakes in this book. I included a photo of just page 2 of the word list, with the combination of typos and outright ridiculous translations highlighted in yellow.While a useful book in theory, the sloppy manner in which the publishers put this word list together makes it completely useless and misleading to beginners and incredibly annoying and potentially misleading to anyone already possessing a basic Swedish vocabulary.As for the examples used to demonstrate word usage, most are simple and useful sentences but many are bizarrely taken, long paragraphs from dense governmental / academic proceedings -- truly strange choices.My guess is the book is almost entirely generated by computer algorithms with no human possessing Swedish/English language knowledge having gotten anywhere near the editorial process.Don't buy this book (or any of the others in the series, I'll assume) until the publishers come out with a heavily corrected edition.UPDATE: The deeper I've gotten into this "book" the clearer it has become that the material was randomly scraped by Google Translate or the like and put into book format with zero editorial oversight. This thing is criminal garbage and should really not be sold on Amazon if they want to keep any kind of reputation for not representing ripoffs.

I am a Swedish speaking American and sent for the dictionary to “sharpen” my language skill. The reason for only three stars is that I found several errors that I can assume were overlooked. Also, the sentences used to help define the words were way over the Volume 1 level. Thirdly, some of the definitions were “off”, at least for Americans..
