I purchased this Solar Ultrasonic Animal Repellent to protect my garden, and it’s been working great! The motion detection is sensitive and activates reliably when animals approach. The ultrasonic sound combined with the flashing "flaming eye" alarm has been very effective at scaring off raccoons, stray cats, and even skunks. Installation was simple, and I love that it’s solar-powered—no need to worry about changing batteries. It’s been through a few rainstorms already and continues to work perfectly, so the waterproof design is definitely a plus. Received it yesterday, charged and set up in the backyard right in front of the garden bed where the raccoon always comes and jumps in. Checked the video last night, the raccoon jumped into the raised bed and digged more than one beds without any sign of not feeling uncomfortable or scared at one time.... Will check if any change tonight Update: the raccoon didn't come the second night, but on the third night, the skunk came and left quickly, and after half an hour the raccoon came and left briefly. The same night, around 2:45am, the raccoon came back and jumped into the raised bed... Third night, the skunk came again, and at 4am the raccoon walked along the 1st raised bed which I already covered with the insect net, then it jumped into the 2nd raised bed when I saw the flame mode triggered.

These are nice for deer and woodchucks. It doesn’t do squat for squirrels. Don’t sell your pellet gun.

Because it doesn't charge in the sun at all for it to be solor powered after charging it on full charge in the house it last about half week. When it working it does keep the birds from nesting on my new truck. I have contacted these people with no response back about this charging problem.
