More creamy than any other alternative that I’ve tried, I’d recommend it for flavour, so good. However, it is pricey.

This creamer has truly become my favorite choice when I want to enjoy a deliciously smooth and creamy cup of coffee, all without any added sugar. The original unsweetened formula, crafted from a blend of coconut cream and almonds, has an exceptional ability to blend seamlessly into my coffee, imparting a luxurious silky texture without overpowering the flavor or introducing sweetness. With only 10 calories per tablespoon and a complete absence of sugar and carbs, it’s an excellent option for anyone who is mindful of their dietary intake. **Taste & Smell:** The flavor profile is subtle and neutral, providing a clean taste that complements rather than masks the natural notes of the coffee. It gently smooths out any sharp edges and allows the rich flavors of the coffee to shine through. **Texture:** For a plant-based creamer, its creaminess and richness are quite impressive. It replicates the comforting mouthfeel of traditional half-and-half, yet without the saturated fats or dairy that many prefer to avoid. **Packaging:** The creamer comes conveniently packaged in an 11.2-ounce shelf-stable carton. This design makes it easy to store in the pantry, which is especially handy for smaller households where space can be a concern. **Health & Diet Friendly:** This creamer aligns well with various dietary preferences and restrictions, making it an inclusive choice for many lifestyles. It is keto-friendly, paleo-approved, compatible with Whole30, vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free. Notably, it even scores 0 points on the WeightWatchers system, allowing you to enjoy your coffee guilt-free. **Shelf Life:** Its shelf-stable nature allows it to be stored at room temperature until it’s opened. Once opened, it can be refrigerated and should be consumed within 7 to 10 days for the best taste and quality. **Value for Money:** While it comes at a higher price point compared to typical dairy creamers, I believe the investment is worthwhile. You’re getting a high-quality, clean product that is sugar-free and plant-based, with better nutritional macros—no unnecessary sugars or empty calories. **Prime Delivery:** One of the best parts is how quickly it arrives via delivery, ensuring I’m never left without my essential morning routine. **Why I love it:** Since I made the switch away from sweetened creamers, I have found that this option gives me the perfect balance of creaminess while keeping my coffee free from any extra sugar or artificial flavors. It has transformed my daily coffee experience into something truly enjoyable. #AmazonFinds #DobermanMom #DobermanSafe #SugarFree #HealthierChoice #PlantBased #CoffeeLover

I have been using nutpods it seems like forever (at least since they started selling it). It has a good texture, mixes well with coffee (although nothing compares with cream but don't want the dairy), and is unsweetened (although not bitter or tart). One reviewer said that she received one that had expired, but if you look at the photo she received the nutpods in August 2020 but it expired in May (wait for it) 2021 (yes, 2021, not 2020), so she had 9 months until it expired. One reviewer said that the nutpods she received were frozen, but she wrote her review on December 21 and if she lives in a location where there is snow, being frozen would be reasonable. I have never had an issue mixing the nutpods in coffee. The flavors are mild (my favorites are caramel and hazelnut, although the seasonal flavors, like peppermint mocha, toasted marshmallow and cinnamon swirl are fun too) and not overpowering. You can always add more, but you can't remove it once you've poured it in. I'm looking forward to trying the eggnog now!

I buy this product in "original" by the case with Subscribe and Save simply because I like it better than any creamer I've ever used. I started using it in place of half and half when I began a cleanse that disallowed milk products. Now I buy it because I prefer it, so much so that I'm willing to pay the higher price. The fact that it can be stored on the pantry shelf until opened makes the product very convenient. While I seriously dislike the French vanilla and hazelnut flavors, which in my opinion are very strong and fake, even in very small amounts, the "original" does not alter the flavor of my beverages at all - it just adds the desired richness. I totally dislike commercial almond milk and coconut milk, but this does not taste like either of those. I used to make my own delicious creamer using coconut and almonds, and even though it required constant attention to have fresh creamer in the fridge, I'd have continued except that I couldn't figure out how to remove all the sediment, even with the best almond bag on the market. I am not an expert on the health-worthiness of all the ingredients, but my brief research on each of them didn't change my mind about using it. In addition to coconut cream and almonds, the ingredients are: acacia gum, sunflower lecithin, dipotassium phosphate, gellan gum and sea salt. It is non-GMO but not labeled as organic.

After reading conflicting reviews, I was hesitant to order this case of Nutpods Dairy-Free Creamer Unsweetened (Original, 4-pack) for $14.95, but decided it's worth a try. Up until now, I'd been using a homecooked reduction of Kirkland brand Unsweetened Almond Milk. First off, the 1-star deduction is in regard to the high cost of $0.33 per ounce, not the quality of the product itself. Although it's a great product, at this price, it's debatable whether I would order it again. Second, at this time, it's not possible to inspect the integrity of the creamer within each box due to the consumer advisory of 7-10 days after opening. Unless there's high volume usage, by the time all four boxes can be opened, Amazon will not accept a return by then. Example: For my once-a-day 16 ounce cup of coffee made with 2 tablespoons of grounds, I added 2 tablespoons of Nutpods. If each box contains 22 tablespoons, this means it'll be 34 days before the last box can be opened. As for the concept of an almond milk and coconut milk combination, initially, I was apprehensive because of the coconut milk. Although I like coconut milk, it wouldn't be my first choice as a dairy-free substitute, let alone a creamer for my morning coffee. I prefer a strictly almond milk creamer, but haven't been able to find an unsweetened product on the market yet. I'll have to say, the flavor of this almond milk and coconut milk product is very subtle and mild. It actually didn't come off as being "coconut" in my coffee at all. This was a pleasant surprise especially since there's 42 more tablespoons of it to go. For the taste, I give it 4-stars. BOTTOMLINE: I'll have to continue to homecook a reduction of Kirkland brand Unsweetened Almond Milk until one is made available.
