Well made, sturdy and perfect stationary bike
I have a bad knee and was looking for a sturdy but not huge stationary bike. My orthopedist said it is one of two home exercises that would help. Since I don’t have a swimming pool I started researching stationary bikes. This one was pretty much what I was looking for and in a price range I can do right now. It’s also foldable and movable. It had excellent reviews. I received it in record time, and while it looked pretty complicated, I’m delighted to say I was able to put it together myself! The instructions were some of the best I’ve ever encountered. The parts were well made, went together with no problems, and I now have this fantastic piece of equipment ready to use. It is SILENT and for now it is in front of my tv. I can fold it and roll it to another room if I want. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Exactly what you want it to be
I love this bike so far! I was looking for something that I could use at home and also take away to college because I don't really have a place to store exercise equipment. I chose this because it can fold up and potentially fit in a closet. When the box first came, it was a lot heavier than I expected. At first I was slightly disappointed by this, but the more I think about it, the more I'm okay with it because it means the bike is sturdy and strong. Once I got the pieces out, I could tell that this is definitely true. Assembly was easy enough...I work very slowly on things like this because I want to make sure everything is correct. Plus, I'm not exactly handy with tools and such. However, this was mostly aligning holes and putting bolts in place. It didn't take much time or stress for even me to figure out. However, I did have to look at the diagram of "labels" in order to figure out which cross bar went on the front and which went on the back. One had wheels, so I wanted to make sure this is correct. I saw in some reviews that people had stripped the left pedal when trying to put it on because you have to screw it in counterclockwise instead of clockwise, but I'm not sure how they managed to make this mistake because the instructions call attention to it like four times. Also, I saw that someone had complained that the remote holder didn't come with screws to attach it, but maybe they lost theirs because mine definitely did. Using the bike is awesome. The display works just as it should and pedaling is smooth and quiet. Like, almost silent. The seat is huge and therefore quite comfortable...it's even more comfortable than the really expensive bikes at a gym I used to use. It is definitely more comfortable than a normal bicycle. I'm 5'4" and I can reach the pedals comfortably. My parents, who have owned several pieces of exercise equipment in the past, say it is way better than any exercise bikes they have ever owned. All in all, I'm extremely thrilled that I found such a great bike for such a great price.

Excellent bike, fragile covers, display didn't last
I use the bike almost every day for 10-60 min. I am not a bicyclist and I don't care much for bicycling. It's just a part of an exercise routine. I have a well-equipped gym with free weights and a treadmill and now this bike, which replaced treadmill as a go to for cardio. Treadmill requires some prep, shoes etc, while this bike requires nothing. Just hop on barefoot and do it. Sometimes as little as 10 min just to warm up. The bike assembly was easy following the video. It took me ~30 min. No tools besides whatever was provided required. One problem I discovered when assembling was the covers (part 19). They were both (left and right) cracked. During assembly I thought it was not a big deal, but as I nearly finished I saw that damage was more serious. The covers are primarily cosmetic and protect the mechanism against dust. So, I decided to ask for new covers - it's supposed to be a new bike after all. I emailed the company and they sent me covers and a link to a video on how to assemble them. Replacing covers took me longer than assembling the bike. There are 3 pieces there and they all have to snap together just about right or else it all goes crooked. The pieces themselves are flimsy, which is fine as they bear no load, but certainly for shipping they better be handled with care (which is stated on the box). Anyway, I did manage to put them on and am very happy with the bike, so here's the summary. When you get the bike, check the covers first. If cracked, unless you enjoy screwing (no pun, there are multiple screws on both sides which have to fit just about right to match predrilled holes) just send the whole bike back for a replacement. The bike is exceptional sturdy otherwise. Very comfortable and the monitor provides basic function and is easy to use. I usually watch something on TV when biking so it's perfect to occasionally check heart rate and speed to make sure that I don't slack off. The most important thing is that the bike is silent! Unlike the bike I used to have and which I hated and hence used little because of that hiss from the belt, this bike you virtually can't hear. So, you can watch TV w/o interference. I have the bike for about a month and so far no problems. After a little over a year, the display died. That is it still shows something, but it is hard to tell what. Replaced batteries. That just made the display bright, but the functionality is all gone. It's either zeroes or some random numbers.

This is an excellent stationary bike that doesn't take up much room and is very quiet.
This is an excellent statiionary bike. It was easy to assemble, and I use it regularly while watching shows on my computer. It gives me a good workout, exercises my lower belly very well with the pedaling, is very quiet, and has good features on it. It is also not made in Communist China (which is always a good thing). It is made in Taiwan, and I am fine with that. I would recommend this stationary bike to anyone (well, anyone who weighs less than the maximum-stated weight which is a little over 300 lbs that is). It is convenient and doesn't take up much space. It is goooood.

Good bike for the price
I was a bit worried about getting an exercise bike without giving it a try first, but I don't have any regrets from this purchase. The bike itself is pretty light (for an exercise bike) and I didn't have any problem moving the big box it came in to the right room. Assembly was a snap - the instructions look horrifyingly complex, but most of the parts they show are already pre-assembled, so you don't need to worry about them. I think the whole assembly had maybe a dozen pieces, not counting screws, and took me about half an hour to put together. All the tools you need come with the bike, so you don't need to worry about that. Once assembled, the bike can fold or unfold into a pretty compact size, so I can easily hide it away in a non-walk-in closet. Once assembled, the bike itself is very quiet. I can easily hear the television over the sound it makes without turning up the volume. Resistance is controlled manually, so if you want to simulate hills and things you'll have to do that yourself, but it's got a very good range of resistances if you just want to set one and go. Please keep in mind I'm a casual cyclist, so I'm sure the more hardcore folks will differ on that point. I'm not sure I trust the pulse meter (it told me I had a heart rate of 170 after ten minutes of riding, and I KNOW that's not accurate) but the rest of the functions seem to be accurate enough. I'm not sure about the calorie counter since it doesn't ask your weight or anything, but it didn't seem hugely inaccurate from what I read online, so caveat emptor on that part. The seat is VERY large, much much larger than a normal bike seat. I actually had a little bit of trouble with it, it was so large, so I sort of have to perch myself on the very tip of it. If you were planning on exercising for more than an hour or so, it might cause you some trouble. I rarely go over an hour, though, and once I got used to it, it didn't really bother me too much. It could just be designed for a different body shape/size (I'm 5'10, 190 lbs). so it's something to keep in mine. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. I'm sure there are fancier bikes out there, but as far as I'm concerned, you can't really beat this one at this price.

Works good so far, comfy seat!
UPDATE - 2 years in to owning this bike: I have had this bike since August 2020 and I use it for 40 mins at a time, 4-5 days a week. The belt has broken 2x inside of it from fraying/splitting apart. I have repaired it both times by buying the belt part myself for $25 each time on Amazon, taking it apart and re-adjusting the resistance, which has taken about 1.5 hrs each time. You need to be handy and have some tools to do this, there is no instructions from the manufacturer so I had to tinker with it. Here is the belt I have bought- Gates 240J4 Micro-V Belt, J Section, 240J Size, 24" Length, 3/8" Width, 4 Rib: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CJK39AC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have not bought this belt, but it looks like it would work and its only $8: https://www.amazon.com/PowerDrive-240J4-Poly-Belt/dp/B00NUS2HJ6/ref=pd_bxgy_sccl_1/143-7896575-6840767?pd_rd_w=2Q7oX&content-id=amzn1.sym.7757a8b5-874e-4a67-9d85-54ed32f01737&pf_rd_p=7757a8b5-874e-4a67-9d85-54ed32f01737&pf_rd_r=XHGPQNK3M5B57J5JMY8Y&pd_rd_wg=lKAFF&pd_rd_r=9ecc871f-8ccf-4ff3-a6cd-b92157e5277d&pd_rd_i=B00NUS2HJ6&psc=1 It is a bit squeaky as time has gone on, but I think if I put some WD 40 on it, it would work well. It is lightweight so its easy for me to move around my house, which I do ever time before & after I work out. It works well after the repairs. I still like how comfortable the seat is, but the resistance is not super high, even when you are maxed out at speed 8, so if you want to workout really hard/want a lot of resistance, this is not the bike for you. But overall, I like it for the price I paid and it has worked well for me! ---- Original review from Sept 2020: Product arrived early, I have had it a little over a month now. I use this bike for 30 minutes 5-6 days a week. I really enjoy this bike because it has a very fluffy seat, it is easy to move around my apartment, and it provides enough resistance for me. Like others have stated, the digital display on the bike does not do a good job of measuring heart rate or calories accurately. It is accurate on time though, which frankly is all I care about. The resistance is controlled by a manual knob, so that would not be affected even if the display broke. I typically keep the knob at a 6 or 7, it only goes up to 8. If you are a hard core biker, this bike will probably not have enough resistance for you. The handlebars are comfortable, this is a bike where you sit up pretty straight as well. I am 5'7", but I am not sure how this bike would work for taller people over 6ft - I think you would hit your knees on the handlebars. So far I have not noticed any mechanical issues with the bike, other than it will creak a little while I am sitting on it from time to time. I think that could be fixed by tightening the screws though. Note, the instructions say to not pedal backward with the bike, so make sure you know that before purchasing to avoid potentially breaking it. I took off the plastic hold older after 1 day because my legs kept hitting it, but since I use it at home it is unnecessary to add on. Assembly was easy, it took me a little longer than the times others wrote, but I was distracted watching TV so thats more on me than anything else :) Even with the distraction, it took me about 1 hour and 15 minutes to assemble. All parts are included in the box, you do not need additional tools. Overall, a very good little bike for a light to moderate biking workout! I was especially happy with the price point :)

Well-built bike........not the best bio-mechanics
I am a former personal trainer so I hope my comments are useful to interested buyers. The build quality of the bike is excellent; however the main drawback of the bike is its bio-mechanics, or the way it interacts with your body when you are cycling. Regarding build quality---the bike is made of excellent materials for the most part, and is a solid piece of machinery. The bike is very sturdy and stable when you're cycling. I had never owned a magnetic resistance bike before, so I was a little nervous about the concept. But I am very impressed with the quiet, smooth pedaling action of the bike at all levels of resistance. I am in average physical condition, and the bike provides more than enough resistance at level 4 to 6 (out of 8) to give me a good workout. The main problem with the bike is the bio-mechanics, i.e. the way your body interacts with the bike. Here are some of the reasons: 1) It is not truly an upright bike (such as a regular road bike). The pedals are too far forward. The bike is a cross between an upright and recumbent bike, however there is no seatback to lean back against. The pedals are so far forward, you are pushing them away from your body to some extent. This may put more stress on your unsupported back. Also, because of the forward pedal position, it is very difficult to get full range of motion (ROM) without being uncomfortable, especially with the extra wide seat. Full ROM is when your legs are almost straight at the bottom of the pedal stroke, but not locked. Full ROM makes any exercise more effective. However people with injuries or joint problems should generally limit their ROM--so this may not be an issue for those people. 2) The seat may be too wide for some individuals, since your legs may not entirely clear the seat on the down stroke and your thighs may rub against the seat. That's one of the main reasons road bikes have narrow seats. I have to sit forward on the seat to be comfortable. 3) The seat gets hard for me after riding for about 30 minutes. The design of this seat is very different than that of a typical road bike seat. The seat is pretty low tech. It's made of a triangular plywood base covered with foam. The foam feels like upholstery grade foam. The plywood base is bolted directly to the seat post, with no shock absorption system. Also the seat is perfectly flat and not contoured to fit your bottom. When I ride the bike for more than 30 minutes (sometimes less) I can feel my "sit bones" sinking into the foam, and my center bottoming out. I'm not saying that will happen to you. It depends on your anatomy and other factors. The rub (pun intended) is that higher tech bike seats are made of firmer materials, including denser rubberized foam that supports your weight better and collapses less. A cushy seat is not necessarily better when it comes to a bike seat. The bike has some very positive features (including the low price) and seems to work well for a lot of people. I just wanted to point out that there are also some issues to consider. Whether or not these issues affect you depends a lot on your anatomy and how you use the bike.
