Electric Cuban/Espresso Coffee Maker 6 Cups

I love this handy coffee maker! I use it every day in my office to fight off the afternoon sleepiness. It is a hit at the office and makes around 5-6 heaping shots of espresso. It is so convenient that I am thinking of replacing my stove top model at home with this same model.Pros: All the reasons I listed above plus, the ease of cleaning, the quick heating time, the seal of the gasket, and overall quality.Cons: It comes with a second screen for use when making only a half pot, It does not work as desired, and makes a mess.The little plastic knob on the lid, fits loosely on the attaching screw. It is striped, so I have to use it carefully until I can glue it in place.

This is the first moka pot I’ve ever used so just keep that in mind.Pros:1. Electric rather than stovetop2. Very quick and easy to brew3. Comes out very hot & easy to pour4. Good coffee flavor5. Lightweight and easy to store6. Aluminum top rather than plastic7. Not noisy8. You don’t have to monitor it like you would a stovetop moka potCons:1. Coffee grinds/residue in coffee. I recommend doing an additional filter before drinking.2. Isnt strong like the espresso I’m used to from Starbucks3. Hard to clean, plus you have to wait for it to cool down before cleaning4. The “user manual” didn’t have clear instructions on how to use it5. Doesn’t hold much coffee grinds6. I’ve found that the finer the grind, the messier the cleanup, not to mention more residue in the coffee

Good product and Moka pot the best coffee

I purchased it about a month ago, it’s very convenient to not use my stove. I keep it close to a plug and turn it on when I need espresso. Only thing is that it leaks sometimes on the side other than that it’s a great machine.

First, the coffee tastes fine. But this has several flaws.Leaks. Leaks everywhere possible. From the high pressure seal between the base and upper chamber. Leaks from the top trying to pour the coffee it dribbles down the pot and onto the floor or counter.No auto shutoff. The DeLonghi Alicia has an auto shutoff when the pot is done brewing. You can also use it as a keep hot for 30min at a time. Not this one. When its on, its on until you remove the pot. It gets extremely hot base when on for a few hours. Once it got left on overnight and the coffee had dried to sludge inside the pot. And it was VERY hot.Spend the extra money and get the Delonghi. Its worth it.
