Good book, not good packaging
Lovely book but unfortunately only sent in a postage bag so has damage to the front and back cover meaning it’s misshaped.

Classic read
This book is amazing for kids aged between 4-10. My 10 year old loved it and especially talking about what they think happened at the end. Great discussion points and illustrations tell as much if the story as the story (without giving it away) a classic.

Really funny and unique book
This book is brilliant - our four year old finds it hilarious, I won’t give the story away but the visual jokes are just excellent. It’s a firm favourite and we read it pretty much every day.

A new family favourite
This is now a massive family favourite! What a great way to develop inference. We love the fog too.

My 'book of the moment' to use with classes!
Wonderfully original! A great example of the illustrations saying so much more than is contained within the actual words. I have used this with Year 1-Year 4 classes and all the children LOVED it! After setting the scene at the beginning the reader of the story then needs do little more than just read the words verbatim & keep a straight face when turning the pages; the children have no problem in getting the message, or in realising that the dog is the one with the brains!

Lovely book but the pictures tell the story. Bought ...
Lovely book but the pictures tell the story. Bought as a present for a 5 year old but felt it was for a slightly younger audience (3/4 year old). However, the recipient's Mum especially commented on the book afterwards so it must have been well received.

Simple but super...
Bought for a play setting and rapidly became a firm favourite. Even after knowing that Sam and Dave miss their gemstones every time, younger children love hearing it re-read, and find the just out of sight and reach jewels both laugh out loud funny and 'we feel so sorry for them' sad each time.Lovely illustrations and simple but fitting text.

Doras cakes again
Again, whoever picked this had something sticky on their hands as it was on the cover when I opened the parcel same as one I Want My Hat Back.
