Excellent Compact Fixed Blade for Everyday Carry
Excellent Compact Fixed Blade for Everyday Carry This knife is extremely well made for its size. The blade came very sharp out of the box, holds an edge well, and is perfect for daily utility tasks. The size is ideal for discreet carry while still feeling capable and solid in hand. The handle has good ergonomics and grip despite the compact form, and the balance feels intentional rather than toy like. The sheath is secure, well fitted, and comfortable to carry without rattling or hotspots. Overall this is a high quality small fixed blade that punches above its weight. Great design, great materials, and excellent value for the price.

Amazing...
What's amazing to me is how quickly Kizer knives took me from being not keenly interested in knives at all, to having a mild addiction :-) I first bought the Kizer Hare, to try as a small, quasi-bushcraft & outdoor knife, for taking on backpacking trips. My habit has always been to bring a small folding knife on such outings, but decided I wanted to see what all the hype around fixed blades was about. As soon as I unboxed and held the Hare, I was in love with it, and immediately wanted more. I decided to get something a bit smaller and lighter, and so grabbed the Drop Bear. I don't know a ton about knives. I'm not savvy about all the different types of steel, nor about matters of edge retention and hardness, and all that stuff. I do think I have an eye for quality, though, and I can tell when a knife is sharp. My Kizer knives just have the feel of good quality, they look great, they feel great, and let me tell you: they come out of the box VERY sharp. I really like the way both knives feel in the hand. There really IS something about a fixed blade that simply feels more like an extension of your hand. The Kizer handles are very well designed for that effect, I must say. The Drop Bear is much lighter and the handle much thinner than the Hare, but it still feels nicely balanced, with excellent ergonomics. For such a small blade, too, I find the Drop Bear to be highly useful. I had thought the inclusion of the pick and tweezers in the handle was a bit gimmicky, but honestly I do like that feature a lot. I mean: why not? Makes for a great little picnic knife, or the knife I take for lighter weight backpacking, bike packing, or kayaking. I highly recommend this knife. The only question I have for myself is what's my NEXT Kizer knife?

Great knife and sheath, room for improvement.
The knife is great, what you would expect from Kizer and from D2, the handle scales are a bit too thin for my liking (which surprised me because thin grips on smaller knives like this usually doesn't bother me), the belt loop is, well, it belongs in the trash which I expected due to other purchases, but it works. The tools in the handle could use some work, the toothpick is fine, but the tweezers are completely useless. Kizer needs to look at Victorinox to see how this type of tweezers are properly made. Victorinox tweezers aren't great, but they are precise and functional, unlike these which have rounded edges and aren't even capable of grabbing a hair, much less a splinter or any other common use someone would have for tweezers. Also the knife did come extremely sharp and shaved hair like butter. I would recommend it, but be aware that the tweezers are not good at all.

Great pick for a first compact EDC fixed blade
Nice little EDC fixed blade. Finish on blade and handle are perfect. I even like the pancake sheath for front pocket carry. Clip has great spring tension and is thicker steel than some of the cheaper knives. The tools in the handle are a bit of a gimmick and the hollow opening for the tools makes the handle feel hollow and light. It is still well balanced though.

Good budget EDC knife
Love this knife. Have been looking for a small fixed blade that I can carry horizontal without printing. This is it. The tweezers and tooth pick are a nice add on. Blade is fairly sharp out of the box. Fit for the sheath is good no play. Built good. Not too small in the hand, my palm is about 10cm across.

Solid, well devised, and perfectly executed.
Bought this for my wife's purse knife. The last one fell off, but this one won't. Really solid clip on this. Well-built knife, and she loved the toothpick and tweezers. This is a solid choice.

Solid little knife
Nice, solid little knife. Very simple, but that's good. I didn't like the belt clit that came with it, so I crochet a lanyard. It's light enough to hang around my neck, and secure in the sheath enough to not fall out. The belt clip seems to be ok, but a little too bulky for my liking. I see the knife as too small for weariton my side. I prefer to have a larger knife on my belt while camping to use as a primary tool. Overall, I really like it. Feels decent in the hand and cuts great.
