This is one of the best purchases i have made. it fits Makita batteries perfectly and runs well on these. I can clean my entire 2500 sq foot house with a single charge of a 5a Makita battery. it has excellent suction, the head is well sealed to the ground to create a good vacuum. works exceptionally well on solid surfaces, however it sucks too strong on throw rugs and sucks this up and "clogs" this is not a big deal for me but something to consider. the low power mode sucks about as well as most other stick vacuums i have tried, the high power mode is MUCH better than any i have purchased. It is obviously not quite as "sturdy" as the $1000 plus Dysons or Samsung stick vacuums, but if you already have batteries this is a much more utilitarian alternative and works just as well.

This vacuum has held up very well. Ideal for hardwood and light ,low carpet. It really does a good job cleaning.

I’d give it 4.5 stars if the rating system would allow me. Great suction, I’m impressed with the power. I love that it has 3 speeds as lower speeds on hard flat surfaces help preserve battery life. A little power hog in high mode, but once I put a 6AH battery on it, it was fine. The 2AH battery works, but drains really fast. Battery for DeWalt sticks a bit when installing and removing, but not too bad. If you separate the dustbin from the body, it’s difficult to realign and I’m afraid of cracking the housing for the dustbin. Fortunately there is a bottom dump so you can empty quickly without removing bin from vacuum body. Separates dust from air effectively, and maintains suction even with a lot of dirt and hair accumulation. Love the face that the metal filter and dustbin can be rinsed off!! Major plus in my book. The power head brushes seem a little weak and when vacuuming area rugs that have very little pile, it causes the brush to stop spinning and creates and overheat error “E9”. A quick off and on and it resets. Noticed that if I use lower power setting, it doesn’t jam as bad, but also doesn’t pick up debris as well off carpet. Attachments slip easily on and off both from the vacuum body and from the extension wand. Torn opinion about the wall mount as it holds the unit quite far from wall, however, they made it so you could leave a battery on it when hanging. I’d never do this, but the option is there. Nice that the other tools slip conveniently into the wall mount so everything is in one place.

I ordered this in August and then had to leave town. I just got to using it and the first thing was missing the small attachment with the brush head right out of the box. This was unfortunate, but I do enjoy the settings for the vacuum and it works great. The light on the vacuum head is very handy. Goes under most furniture pretty well with bending slightly. 3 stars for missing piece but happy with product. Would’ve had 5 stars.

Great sweeper. This sweeper is lightweight, durable and has great power for suction. It is so easy to grab this sweeper for all quick messes but it also will do great for sweeping the whole room. The battery life for this is awesome and does not fizzle out mid cleaning. There are 3 different speeds and it also comes with all the tools to use for little spaces and high to reach spaces.
