I recently purchased this window breaker and seatbelt cutter tool, and I’m really impressed by its design and functionality. It’s compact, easy to use, and most importantly, it offers peace of mind knowing I’m prepared for emergencies. The tool is very sturdy and feels solid in your hand, which is reassuring in case of an actual emergency. The seatbelt cutter is sharp and efficient, and I feel confident that it would easily cut through a seatbelt if needed. The window breaker is equally impressive, it’s powerful enough to break a car window with minimal force, which is crucial in a stressful situation. I also like that it’s portable and comes in a 2 pack, so I’ve placed one in the glove compartment and one in the center console for easy access. It’s small enough to not be in the way, but readily available in case of an emergency. The black color makes it look sleek and discreet, blending in with the rest of my car's interior. I tested the tool on a car window, safely, of course, using an old window, and it worked as advertised, it broke the glass with just a couple of taps. The fact that it’s also effective underwater adds an extra layer of confidence in case I ever need it in an unexpected situation, like a water related car accident. This safety tool is a must have for every car. It’s affordable, reliable, and could potentially save lives in an emergency. Highly recommend adding this to your vehicle's safety kit!

We actually used it to break a pretty thick piece of glass, so we could box it up and throw it away safely. It worked even better than I expected!!!

I like these, have bought at least one for every car. Easy to use, and I love the practice piece of glass! Really shows how good it works. My biggest complaint is that the adhesive is not great. In one car the adhesive stuck to the car, but came off on the tool end! (Oh brother). Other cars, it didn't adhear well to the car dash. Dash was clean, smooth, no angles. I'll have to buy some kind of better adhesive.

Great product

I got this because I know how important it is to be able to get out of a car in the event of an accident and with everything that's been going on lately, it seems like that's a good thing to have. I've been watching some videos on the easiest way to break out of the glass. And having a tool like this seems like a no-brainer. Especially once you add in the added functionality of having the seat belt cutter, it looks like these can slice right through seat belts with no problem. Once I got these I held them in my hand. They feel really solid aluminum. They are very bright and so they should be easy to find and see even when you're in an accident and potentially in a different position than what you would expect. They have mounting brackets. I don't anticipate using those because I would rather just keep these in my center console. I got one for my car and one for my truck. At the price. They seem like a very good value. They're very lightweight and should do exactly what you need. The way that you break the window is you press it up against the window, pushing it and then a spring releases launching tip into the window which would cause it to break. It seems user friendly and easy to do. I haven't tested this because I'm not about to break out my window just for an Amazon review. But if I do end up needing to use it, you can rest assured that I'll come back and give an update on how it went.

I had the old traditional hammer-style breaker but it was bulky and wanted something small for my WRX. I saw that this had bright red color with glow in the dark green stripe for better visibility and was surprised to see that there's a thick sample glass you can actually test it on. It works like a ratchet center punch where you push it down until it clicks. That force makes the punch make a dent even on a piece of aluminum which, of course, shatters any glass. I made a video and was quite surprised. I did it outside so it didn't go all over the floor inside the house. This mechanism seem faster than trying to swing a hammer to break the glass in an emergency! While I haven't tried the cutter, I did try to cut pieces of paper and seems to cut it butter smooth so I'm sure it'll be no issue if the belt ever needs to be cut.

I love that these are smaller and can be added to a keychain. I keep similar tools in all my vehicles but when the time comes you need these seconds will save your life so I want it in the easiest place to get to. Everything seems good quality the ends don't even thread on to save time they push on and are held by o rings. Great compact design.

Seems like it will do what it’s supposed to but it would help to have one glass piece to practice on per tool ordered. I ordered two 2-packs and it only comes with 1 glass disc per 2-pack. It would be good to be able to have a spouse and kids practice to know what it does.

A good product to have in the car in case of an emergency

I think this is mandatory for every driver. It did come with a piece of glass and I tried the glass breaker. It shred it into pieces. It's a small price to pay for your safety. I gave one to my daughter too who is a new driver. Brings me peace of mind to know she has one.

I’m sure we have all seen the terrifying moment in action movies where someone is trapped in a car that has sunken in water or flipped upside down. It is very hard to push a car door open when it is held shut by water pressure or gravity. The obvious solution is to break a window to escape, but the tempered glass used in vehicles is very difficult to break. A window breaker tool uses a hardened steel point to crack the tempered glass allowing escape. This particular glass-breaking tool is unique because you simply remove the protective cover and push is against the glass, once you have pushed it hard enough, a strong spring fires the metal point into the glass. This is a better solution than the typical glass-breaking hammer, because it can be difficult to swing a hammer hard enough while under water or in a tight space. This emergency tool even comes with a small piece of tempered glass you can use to test it. This is an important safety device and I will be placing them in each of my family’s vehicles. I reduced my rating by one star because the seatbelt cutter is operated by pushing the blade onto the seatbelt - meaning that you must use two hands to make it work, one to hold the seatbelt fabric and another to push the blade through it. A one-handed solution where you use the blade by pulling not pushing would be much better.

I was extremely pleased with this item for safety and peace of mind for my adult children. They travel on roads that follow a body of water through the mountains carrying a precious cargo - their children. This item allows me to do as much as possible to keep them safe. My only negative is the sticky piece that holds it on the dash does not hold very well and will have to find another solution.
