Great for the price, feels great!
Bought this for my son for Xmas and he is a big gamer. I was lucky enough to try it and it is awesome. I love gaming as well and the Feel, looks, and ergonomics of this keyboard cannot be beat. The keys feel responsive and smooth. The actuator slider is amazing, it will either make your key strokes more or less sensitive to pressure so in FPS games is can be a real game changer. The RGB is nice and pretty standard. I do like that they sent a wrist support. I can no longer play M&K due to tendonitis in my arm, so anything that supports better ergonomics, especially for younger players is a bonus. The Keyboard is smaller in size and feels very sturdy. My son goes through keyboards like tennis shoes, and this one seems like it is built to last. I really enjoy this keyboard and if I could still use M&K I would buy on for myself!

Possible Apex of Keyboards (aha)
It's sleek, it feels good, and it's better than every other Razer thing I've ever used. I bought this because a brand new keyboard that I've kind of relied on being the Razer Black Widow it is basically become the worst thing to game with on the planet. Contrary to popular belief I do actually enjoy the clickiness of most keyboards but this one doesn't have it nearly as much and is much quieter. It's quite a bit more responsive when connecting to its third party software, which is actually built well, so programming it to do what you need it to do is actually do it fairly easy. After gaming on it as soon as I opened it up for about 29 hours straight it showed no signs of odd behavior. Long-term thinking if you're trying to clean this thing, the keys are not surrounded by a housing so getting to them is relatively easy.

Exceptional Performance and Smooth Replacement Experience
The SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen 3 is an outstanding keyboard with an excellent typing and gaming experience. The OmniPoint 3.0 HyperMagnetic switches feel incredibly smooth and responsive, and the adjustability really makes a difference for both gaming and everyday use. Build quality is premium, and it looks great on the desk. My original unit did arrive broken, which was disappointing, but the recovery experience was very positive. After contacting SteelSeries, they quickly directed me to work through Amazon. Since I purchased it on sale, I wanted to make sure I kept the same price—and Amazon handled everything flawlessly, shipping a replacement right away. I’ve now been using the replacement for a few months with no issues, and it’s been performing exactly as expected. Despite the initial hiccup, the keyboard itself and the resolution process make this an easy recommendation.

Unreal feel and performance — my new go-to gaming keyboard
I recently upgraded to this keyboard and I honestly don’t see how anyone could give it anything less than 5 stars. My previous keyboard was a fully mechanical unit with Cherry MX Brown switches, so I had a good benchmark—and this one absolutely stands out. The keystrokes are super fast and precise—if you’ve ever watched keyboard ASMR videos and thought “I want that,” this is it. Gaming performance is fantastic. Every input feels responsive, smooth, and satisfying. Uses USB-C for modern, reliable connection. One of the killer features is the adjustable actuation pressure: I can dial in exactly how far I need to press a key (0.1mm to 4.0 mm) range, and that significantly reduces accidental key-presses. The lighting quality is excellent. The customizable RGB effects are rich and make it easy to match the keyboard to any build or desk setup. The form factor and build feel premium: the tenkeyless layout keeps things compact (my desktop is less cluttered) and the materials feel incredibly solid. I’m completely sold on this keyboard! It is the perfect fir for those who heavily type for long hours or a gamer looking to maximize their setup. Overall rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) In my experience, this keyboard delivers an exceptional blend of feel, responsiveness, customization, and build quality. If you’ve been looking for a keyboard that not only works great but feels great to use every day—this is one of the best I’ve tried.

perfect keyboard. go for it.
perfect keyboard for any gamer. keys sound so nice and creamy. the actuation is programmable so you can be either super precise or have extra room to play with. heavy, sure, but again you aren’t going to be moving it much. build quality - amazing.. almost. the media button feels a bit mushy.. it may be a bit loose. by the way it’s loose on both of my apex pro Gen 3s. the display is actually useful since you can configure the whole keyboard just from that. you can also add images to it or gifs to it which is pretty cool. though it has to be black and white. there is no colour and it doesn’t have greyscale. leds are pretty bright and look super satisfying. i personally have the pudding keys from steelseries which i would recommend, they look so good. software is a pain i cant lie, sometimes can be a bit hard to go through. also its so damn expensive.. though i can’t lie its worth it. i’ve stuck with steelseries keyboards since the first keyboard i ever got. i’ve always used steelseries apex keyboards, all others felt like they were missing something. and they were. it was the display. i always miss the display. the display is quite responsive but the refresh rate is clearly low.

Possibly the Perfect Keyboard
I read all the reviews but this will much less technical and more about feel and ergonomics. I go through keyboards like they're disposable. I yearn for that perfect experience I had from an old Dell keyboard in the late 90s. It was mechanical and so smooth. I hunt and peck and occasionally brush other keys which results in typos and rework. It is not productive. When I get frustrated enough I go in search of a new keyboard option. I have donated at least 20 keyboards to Goodwill. All function but they just didn't have the right feel. Until this one. I knew it was pricey but I felt it was worth it if I could finally find a keyboard that didn't frustrate. This is it. The keys have the tactile feel I truly appreciate but they are not loud like a Corsair. Everything is smooth and easy to use. Even if you can't figure out the basics without a manual,. the manual is very easy to read and use. The keyboard is perfectly responsive and does not add artifacts if I brush a key. I find it hard to believe I would ever say this but typing on this keyboard bring true pleasure to me. I cannot attest to the gamer ability since I just work with it. For a work computer, this is worth the price of admission.

One of the nicest keyboards.
TLDR: It's just awesome. Recommended. General: So this is my first SS keyboard that I've tested, so I will be mostly comparing to Corsair. First and most important, the switches are really good... this keyboard should be compared/competing to Wooting mostly. Omnipoint 3.0 actuation range and general 'feel' is awesome. And before continuing, I should also note — and it's a good 'weak point' you could say — NOT EVERY SWITCH is Omnipoint, and this is more noticeable in the full version: Numpad, Arrow Keys, and Nav Keys are NOT Omnipoint. I don't know if they're brown/red switches, also not sure if OEM or another brand. Being realistic, this doesn't make too much sense. Build Quality: I find the quality just excel. I really really like the 'feel' of the keycaps, it's like you're not touching plastic. It's like some kind of metallic/rough feel but really smooth. Software: Now the top of the cake — and also issues: the software. I read all days people running into issues with GG Engine, Sonar and etc (SteelSeries Brand-Software). You should know that on Windows 11 you are very likely to experience some issue. I have W10 LTSC and I've been running really smooth, 0 issues. So, you can modify everything: RGB Config using prism, Sync RGB between devices. You also have people-made apps for game-sync with the keyboard, providing info, example: Playing LOL, sets the screen to dragon/baron timers, updates if someone slays them, sets YUIOP color depending if your teammates and you are alive or not and much more.. Actuation strength from 0.1 to 4mm per individual key You can select groups Activate SOCD and Rapid Trigger It also has Protection Mode that's really useful You can set Meta Keys and double-level actuation (you can set a key to do two actions depending on actuation range) OLED, RGB and Feel: The OLED Screen is... well, it's just a nice thing to have. You can put gifs and it's really beautiful. It can also show game info, media info, and you have a volume wheel too. You can set actuation range from here. The RGB is really nice — I find it better than my Corsair keyboards, but that's personal preference. Wireless, latency and typing: I don't have any latency using wireless, battery duration is decent — not the best, but it gets the job. I use the dongle extension so I can charge it quickly if I have to. One final note about switches is that, IDK if it's me, but with these switches I can really feel the pressure I'm doing on the key and be precise. Wrist Rest: The magnetic wrist is solid and might feel not premium, but that's totally wrong. It has a really really NICE rubberish material and feels really comfy. The magnet doesn't even move. Profiles: Ending, you also have Quickset profiles (preset profiles made by people): Changing keys, actuation points, activating protection/rapid tap/SOCD etc. for each game, and you can set yours and make different profiles. Final Thoughts: I don't want to keep talking but I could review more aspects. It's a really nice keyboard.

Super keyboard
The sound and the lights work amazingly. I cant connect the lights to my computer due to the software not being compatible with my Mac. Other than that I feel like the keyboard is well structured and quiet. I feel the battery life could be better but is not terrible. I like that it gives you warnings when it is getting low with the light array. Great value for money very well built keyboard.
