Santa's Gift list German Advent Calendar with Chocolate Gifts Inside

I needed a hostess gift for a Thanksgiving dinner, and I picked this. It didn't cost very much, and that should have been a red flag. The seller did an excellent job, and the product was not misrepresented, but shipping may have loosened the chocolate. My heart sank when I found a stack of these calendars for sale at my local grocery store, for less than $2. It would have been better had I purchased one of those, rather than subjecting the one I got to the ravages of shipping. It's just too big and flimsy. I would not expect sturdier packaging for this item. The seller deserves five stars. My poor judgment in selecting this for a hostess gift and then having it shipped deserves only one star. Totally my fault.

Growing up my parents would buy us advent calendars each year. I would so look forward each morning to opening another window and eating the chocolate treat. I enjoyed the art work on the calendar and did look forward to eating the chocolate each day. The chocolates tasted fine and I enjoyed eating it each day until Christmas now I have to wait 11 months and a week for my next piece of chocolate.Jim

Very tasty chocolate! Gave a piece to my brother and ended up confiscating the majority of the package. Though we both agree that the pieces were rather small for the price paid.

My grandson loved his advent calendar. We will be getting one every year.

No chocolate in this, just card board and suppose to be a saying beind each door, I'll be giving them to my grandkids today. We will see if there is a saying, I hope so. bought candy separate for the parents to share with them.

I paid wayyyyyyyyyy too much for this item. The only reason I didn't return it was because it was so close to Christmas and my kids had already started eating the chocolate.
