BSA Optics TW223-312x40AOCP Tactical Weapon 223 Scope, 3-12x40mm

UPDATE: I was able to rotate the scope by -90 degrees, and now it works just fine. My brass no longer slams into the badly-dented turret. +1 star, for 4 stars total. Next I plan to swap the turrets. Up will still be up, but Right and Left will be reversed.earlier review:I'm giving this only 3 stars because, at least on the rifle for which it was intended, a Ruger Mini 30 Ranch Rifle, the right turret is so big that the spent cases slam right into it. The 300AAC turret that comes with this scope matches ballistics well enough with the 7.62x39 to be theoretically useful, but look at the picture. If they put that turret on the left side, it would be fine. The Ruger Mini is indeed a tactical weapon, available in .223 and 300AAC, but I do not recommend this scope for anyone with a Ruger Mini in any caliber. Note that I have a Ranch Rifle, which ejects more horizontally, but there is obviously still a big problem.Overall, I've had great experiences with BSA scopes, which is why I'm giving this one 3 stars. The coatings are second to none. There is literally no need for a sun shade! However, in 2 of my BSA scopes, (a Contender series and this one) there were serious design issues, and that I guess is the reason that BSA scopes are still so inexpensive.

This odd one of the best scopes I've every messed with! It has great adjustability and the price can't be beat! I spent more for a scope that worked horrible compared to this one! With the adjustable objective it doesn't matter what distance your shooting at your gonna hit what's in the cross hairs! So you can think about it if you want but your not gonna beat this scope at this price! Put some offset iron sights on your AR and the scope and you've got everything you can ever want! Hit bullseyes at 100 yards and still keep your quick access to tight quarter shots!

I purchased this scope brand new from amazon back in September of 2016.I've taken the rifle (Bolt action 300 Blackout) to the range 3-4 times since then and fired roughly 150 rounds (mainly subsonic) through the rifle.I took the rifle out this weekend to sight it in before hunting season and when I brought up the magnification to 12x, it went past 12x and instead rotated the reticle. I have to rotate the magnification lever back past 3x to get it to rotate back into position. Let me be clear, the scope itself is not rotating, the reticle within the scope is.I know that Im past my warranty date but is there anything BSA can do to help me?I have never dropped or hit my rifle/scope, I just want my scope to work.

I have 4 BSA scopes and have had no trouble with any of them. Yes the glass could be clearer, but you get a good scope for the money. I have Nikons and Vortex optics, they are a bit more crisp especially in low light but you would be hard pressed to find another optic for the money that gives what this one does.

Good looking scope, the windage and elevation does not work, have to send back to BSA. I have several BSA scopes, no problems, just got a bad one .i guess. Hopefully Bsa will fix it, they do have a lifetime warranty.

I haven't dialed it in yet but I like it so far!

Very nice scope - very crisp and clear. Equivalent to other scopes costing over $100. Keep in mind this is a 30mm diameter tube so it will not fit 1" scope rings.

Super pissed that 30mm rings don't fit this scope like super mad. So do not buy 30mm rings cause they won't fit and you will be dead in the water like me
