So, they are really comfortable and really small and you need to know that the flipper part is plastic.What does that mean?Well, rubber tends to be more flexible and resilient while plastic can bend..and doesn't bounce back.I guess one of the times while balancing myself on a bunch of rocks or dead coral, I must of bent the flipper.When I got home I returned them and had no issue at all..very cool.As far as their utility for snorkeling, as many have noted, they are quite small.I'm not such a big snorkeler where any loss of speed was overly upsetting to me.I did compare them to a more conventional rubber set and they were like half the size.And any disappointment I might of had about the loss of speed or performance were more than offset when it came to packing them in my suitcase ;-)You know, I can't honestly say that I wouldn't order them again but if I did, I'd be more mindful of putting too much weight on them.................

These were ordered to size and fit me very nicely. They did rub the top of my foot raw, so I needed to start wearing booties with them. That could have been caused by the sunburn I got on top of my feet after I took them off however. Also they are obviously not full sized fins, so you do have to work harder to get anywhere than with full-sizers. They did fit in my carryon and were much, much better than going barefoot on my last snorkel trip. They also don't really take up that much net room when you stuff the foot holes with small things, so I'm very glad I got them.

I never had short fin before only the standard long ones. I've been wearing these for a week now and have never had to work this hard. So if you are into water aerobics or just enjoy deep water walking then these are for you. The short fins don't give you much push and force you to work to get any type of monentum. You can get a great cardio workout without and strain or stress on the joints. When ordering the only suggestion I have is too check the size because I found the run a little on the large side. I'm a size 10.5 and according to the guide I should take the extra large. That is what I ordered. They are a little loose fitting so if you want a tight fit I suggest ordering a size smaller if you are at the lower end of the size range.

I swim for exercise in the pool and in a salt-water bay near my house. I need flippers to keep from getting exhausted before I've had a decent half-hour in the water, and these are the best I've yet owned. They fit nicely into my gym bag. The fit isn't precise, but I bought a pair of synthetic swim socks that fill them out perfectly and keep them from chafing. I would buy them again, though I expect to get years of service out of them.

They aren’t so large that they are cumbersome when trying to walk in them, but are large enough to provide the umph needed glide through the water. The fit was very comfortable and the soft material around the foot allowed for extended use without any soreness. They came delivered with inserts to hold the form but also work great for hanging the fins to dry after use. The hanger makes storage much easier when wanting to hang them instead of packing them in the back of a closet. Living on the southern gulf coast and having year round access to the beaches I know these fins will get a lot of use.On a side note, they smelled great. Not the typical rubbery plastic smell you get with some products of similar material.

These snorkeling swim fins are amazing. They are made out of a really comfortable rubber that makes them easy to put on and take off. They are shorter and less bulky than other fins. They are easy to walk around in and you don't have to waddle around in them like a clown with big feet like you have to do with other fins. The bottom also has a non-slip grip that is great to keep from slipping. Be sure to measure your foot and use the size chart when ordering and you won't have trouble getting a good fit.

Super comfortable. Lightweight yet do the job fantastically, and easy to walk in as I get out over lava rocks. I have bought about 4 pair of other types in the past 2 years and they were all crappy. Sorry for the word but that's exactly what they were. I have bought really long ones before and they were not much better than these. Even in a light Ocean current I can get around just fine. I am 63 years old and used to be a very strong swimmer. I am not anymore and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I think these are great short blade flippers. I am a mens US 12 size and the respective size fit perfect. I recently went snorkeling all over St. John and they were great. I will say that I took a charter boat that provided regular blade flippers (longer ones) and I had a noticeable difference in the amount of propulsion from the longer ones than these short blade ones. They are easier to walk in than the regular length diving flippers but seem to have less "kick" than longer blade flippers. That being said they are shorter and I can't complain since they have less surface area than normal flippers - but are easier to travel with. All in all I'd probably have bought longer flippers if I were to be picky.

The width and length of the flipper were ideal. I found the ankle to size too large for my ankles, however, although I have narrow feet they did not slip out of the flippers. The only downside if you are using them in a swimming pool be careful as they have extremely slippery as they do not have any suction on the bottoms.Overall they help me gain my confidence in the water as a non-swimmer, inn addition with a float.

Great for our holiday. We did loads of snorkelling and these were so easy to get on and off.
