In my opinion this product is not worth the money. Purchased it in mid April they give you one month to make sure it’s going to work properly. Now July 1st Can’t return and it no longer comes on won’t work. No good reason why. $300 wasted for two months. Just trying to get the pool ready for summer. Thanks a lot. money doesn’t grow on trees. I would like it to at least have last for the summer. Very dissatisfied. Cindy in Orange Park FL.

We are on our 4th year using this and it has held up great! Easy to set up and use on our 8x2 stock tank pool. Highly recommend

After only three weeks, this unit just stopped working. Out of the box, it was normal but it started to make unusual noises and was not pumping water. I went on YT to see what others did to fix theirs and tried many tips by watching dozens of videos (except the ones where they're taken apart), and it still did not work— I just gave up.I lost hours of time trying to correct it and I can't get back my time BUT am returning it to get back something.Perhaps the company did not do a quality check? Not sure.I had to go back and use an old smaller pool pump that I had in storage and it works like a charm — I just needed one that pumped out more gallons per hour and this just failed to do so.

It failed after three years, but definitely goody moneys worth!

Sorted out all pieces, the pump states for my type of pool, 3 hose, 3000+ gallon above ground pool.All seemed well, however there are only 2 joiner pieces that connect hoses to in-pool aerator part. The 2 parts show to connect to the 2 hoses that suction water out of pool, not to the hose that replaces the filtered water to pool. Thus leaving the filtered water hose without. Put the tightened clasps on started pump, ran great. Water looked cleaner in 2 hours. Was really happy.Now fast forward 6 hours, pump has turned off, (has great timer feature!). Look down side of my house and water is standing between my home and neighbors. I go to backyard to find the "A" hose leaking water, not just a few drips but enough to drop water depth by 7 inches. The hose leaks at the screw connector. I tightened it as much as could be done, leak stopped. Looked in on it a couple hours later, leaking again. Have to go to hardware store in morning, going to try pipe tape, seems there should have been another connector piece for hose "A".Will post further after a couple weeks, to insure the pipe tape works and pump continues to perform optimally.Currently ok with the pump and performance.

My previous one broke and I decided to get this one which definitely gets the job done. I have no leakage problems and definitely worth its price. It’s very good quality I truly recommend if you are in need of one.

Tried to find my previous negative review but I either didn't hit Submit or it was deleted.Original Post:Purchased the Bestway pump in August and within 2 months it was dead! My husband & I tried everything possible to troubleshoot and nothing worked. I contacted the seller and received no response. We were beyond pissed at how much money we spent on this pump for it to crap out within 2 months!UPDATED POST:Found the inserts that came with the pump and noticed it had a 12 month warranty. I contacted Bestway, on their US web site, completed a Warranty Claim and received a new pump less than a week later.NEED TO KNOW: Every purchase I make on Amazon for something large, I usually try to make sure it's direct from the manufacturer. I thought it was just the blue link basically saying "Visit Bestway store". I WAS VERY WRONG on this one! When I got my response from Bestway they said the item was purchased through a 3rd party seller, Brands on Sale. I checked my invoice and there it was. Since it was their product they were honoring the Warranty anyway. When I went back to the product it took a while to find it, but after scrolling I found that the item was being sold by another company. All I can say is do yourself a favor and just go to the Bestway US website and put in a Warranty Claim. They will honor their warranty and give you a new product!

I replaced my old little pump with this one and it does much better. I would suggest everyone to upgrade their little pump to this one for sure. The only issue I had was that it said comes with attachments and it came with the filter intake things that go in the pool not the attachments for the hoses. I had to purchase those separate.
