Worth the money
These are very nice and worked well for my application. Keep in mind, if you have a 4 by 4 post, you need the spacers purchased separately to make this work properly. The only thing I could say that is a downside is the fact that the faux rocks are more of a solid color than variegated as they appear in the picture. So, I used some exterior house paint and stain to change the color of a few of the stones to make mine look better, as you can see in the pics. It came out very nice. I would highly recommend these.

Excellent product
I have to say excellent product. A little less expensive than other similar ones sold elsewhere. My contractor just had to cut the extra one to make two I had higher. No glue needed and we used a 6" x 6" post that was trimmed down half an inch for perfect fit. Something I noticed later the color matches perfectly with my roof!

Doesn't Fit 6x6!!!!
Does not fit over a 6×6 post.....only fit halfway down post, and it was a struggle to get it that far down. The slate is now stuck on the post!!!...... The instructions said it would fit a 6×6 post......thats a NEGATIVE!!

The finish chips off
Initially I thought that this was a great idea. I noticed after 1 year, the exterior finish started to flake off, exposing the white foam-like material. I touched it up using various brown paints, then sprayed a matte clear-coat over the entire surface in an attempt to stop the flaking. It's now been 2 years to the date and the chipping/flaking continues, including the top caps. Further touch-up, and another coat of clear. I was hoping to get at least 5 years.....It's now August 2019, and the paint chipping continues. I've had to touch up the paint at least twice a year to cover up the white underneath.

Cost to return
These look cheap in person so I returned them ( I bought 2) and it cost $63 each to pay for the return label. I can’t believe I just spent $129 to return something!!! Very upsetting
