This is definitely a looks over comfort type of bag. The straps are like seatbelts and not very comfortable. The zip is also rather rough and a bit uncomfortable to brush past when reaching in.It's perfectly functional, just not as comfortable as some other bags and not necessarily something you'd be wanting to wear a lot.The size is like a children's backpack or a large handbag rather than a proper adult backpack. I'm not sure how practical it would be for A4 notepads, laptops and stuff like that.The side pockets are big enough to hold a standard can, but they push into the main part of the bag so won't fit anything if the bag is stuffed full or has something rigid pushing up against the sides.The black material on the sides is nice and smooth.It does also have the nice addition of the shoulder strap and the D rings on the bag for the shoulder strap also give a handy point for hanging things like cute accessories, umbrella or whatever else.The handle and the D rings also give multiple options for hanging the bag and it does hang well on a wheelchair.The reflective material is just like other bags I have. The colours are more green and purple just like the picture shows. It's only a really bright flash that brings out the more yellow and pink colours.It reflects enough in dim indoor light to show a bit of colour and sometimes a bit of a shine. Outside/ brighter light gives more colour and then the really bright colour is only with really bright and direct light like from a camera flash. (Photos are of dim indoor lighting and camera flash).I've found that the tiles on most of these bags are more durable than they seem. I haven't had any issues with this one so far and I imagine it will last as well as any other basic bag.All in all it's a nice bag. The main selling point is obviously the reflective material. Otherwise you could definitely find better/ more comfortable bags for a similar price. If you do want it for the looks it's a completely reasonable option and will work. Might want to get some strap pads for a little more comfort though.

Love my Quirky bag! I get loads of compliments about it when I take it out.There is a knack to closing and folding it up not to damage it whilst in use, put it's easy to get use to too.Lots of room inside the bag. One big main compartment and a side zip compartment.The bag itself closes with clip and draw string, items inside can get loose if tipped upside down and shaken.My only reservation is how easy the reflective piece can scratch it your not to careful.Over all amazing beautiful bag.

Reflects light/ lights up only a very small amount. Doesn't matter how bright the light shining on it. Nothing like the picture. I have no idea why previous Amazon.com reviews said it was great.Will keep it purely because I like the pattern. But as it was wanted for safety at night it's not going to be particularly helpful. Buyer beware.Haven't yet tried it for carrying items so no idea how comfy it is. Not waterproof or resistant due to nature of material/zips/drawtop.

I get so many compliments about this bag! It looks great and holds a surprising amount. I take it to work every day and it has held up in bad weather and being shoved in a locker every day. It's a little hard to clean but that's me being picky. So many people have asked where I got this bag. It looks especially good at clubs and anywhere with a black light.

The handle isn’t comfortable to hold, it’s thin fabric that digs in to your skin. The straps are okay. I obviously bought this bag for the effect but it’s nothing like the pictures. It does shine in the darkness if you put a light to it, but only a faint shimmer and not the disco ball crazy bright effect that you were hoping for. Without shining a light directly onto it, it just stays the black colour, so it’s pretty useless. The inside isn’t that spacious either and it’s smaller than a normal backpack - could have not minded this if the colour effect was real but it isn’t at all

This bag is amazing, as you can see from the pictures in and out of light.It's well made and a good size.

Reflects well, didn't use much tho, only when I am cycling in the evenings, quality is good for the price, quite big as well.

I've had it a week (if that) and only used it a few times and panels are coming away. Really poor quality bag. Doesn't react in direct light, the bag needs to be in indirect light to show it's colours. Wish I'd not been a cheapskate and paid the extra £10 and bought it from the proper company
