Fits well and Survived it's first trip.
I like it. Worked well first trip down the river. I'm 250+ lbs. This cover helps when having to drag over the rocks. I purchased another one and having it delivered at the campground. 👍

Expensive, but worth it! nothing ruins a river run worse then a premature tube deflation.
The Intex tube depicted is a good fit. Keep in mind some have said it doesn't fit well, my experience was you need to fully inflate your tube for proper fit and other tube products could have differing dimensions and may cause an improper fit. It doesn't fit perfectly as I think it was meant to be a universal fit, so the headrest for me was almost in the way, but could be pushed down. The design will likely prevent most kinds of punctures to your tube as it covers the bottom and sides, allowing for minor brushes with rocks and the more dangerous task of pulling off to the side of the river where many things can puncture your tube.Final thoughts: Expensive, but worth it! nothing ruins a river run worse then a premature tube deflation.

Not all river run 1 tubes are the same. Apparently.
Seems thick enough to keep from popping tubes. But fitment is meh. If you have a very specific year model of a river run 1 (with a plastic rope ring below the last R in river), I'm sure it will fit perfectly. For me, even with a rbrand new river run 1 (clearly manufactured at some point of outside of that mystical date) the slim part in the back doesn't line up. My rope clips on my fire edition are under the V in river and the U in run. So everything is off. Easy solve by just deflating and cutting additional sluts but I'm guessing duct tape will come into play at some point. Heading to the Frio next week, have 2 of them, will update my review once I'm back. I honestly wish they made this cover with no slits, and simple instructions to cut slits where you need them. Clearly the Intex people change configurations regularly which makes this product null and void - regardless of how well made it might be. I of course ordered 2 of these in February (well past the return window) so I've got nothing to lose by modding it to fit my tube correctly.

Very Durable, will last and protect the tube for sure.
I doubt the tube will ever get punctured with this thing on. Things to note though. This is expensive but it makes sure your tube gets down the river. Read the directions when putting it on your river tube. The slots and holes line up perfectly for the river tube rope. I gave this 4 stars as it is on the expensive side but other than that it's awesome.Side Note: Also in my state if you add this to a tube and thereby close off the bottom so your feet can't go thru then you are required to have a life jacket when floating on a river. not on you but within reach. So check your local laws. I bought a cheap life guard approved one and clipped it to the tube.

make sure you aren't being a fool like me and trying to put it on without the ...
If you find this cover isn't fitting properly, make sure you aren't being a fool like me and trying to put it on without the directions lol! It comes inside out, and there's a "shorter" side that must be placed properly on the back of the tube, or else the entire thing will be off and will be poofed out. When it's on correctly, it fits perfectly, and every single rope tie sticks out where it should. I ordered mine at the beginning of August 2017, so as of then, either the model has changed to fit better, or more likely, people are just neglecting the instructions since it seems like it should be "simple."Once it's on properly, it works amazingly, and looks great too! I only tube in rocky white water in Colorado, even some class III, and this will definitely hold up against the rocks and strainers! I do wish the green fabric extended below the bottom of the tube, but the mesh on the bottom of this cover is pretty sturdy, and way stronger than the mesh that comes on the Intex tubes.

Comfy, works well.
I got the extra cover on the tubes. A bit pricey when it comes to tubes. I also got the cooler float. With all that said, if I had to buy them again, I would go the same route. They are big for a Big guy. We bounced of some limbs, downed stumps, rubbed along the bottom of the creek. My son climb in and out about a hundred times. They hold air. The cooler float is great. Be sure to use all the quick attach ropes included, they held every time. I did add a Bungie to the cooler to ensure the top stayed on. The Velcro was un-trusted, but prob would have been fine.

Great product. Affordable and easy to use.
Before the cover, tubes would pop on an underwater branch or other objects. No tube popping with these covers! They are versatile - fitting Costco tubes and tractor tire tubes. We turned one upside down to create a platform for the dogs to go down river (pic attached).Great product.

Peace of mind.
The extra protection makes me a lot more confident going down rivers where a blown tube would mean a long long walk to the car. I've seen others dragging their blown tubes as they trudge down the river after hitting a sharp rock
