We've had this pull toy for about 3.5 months and it's held up incredibly well for my boy who insists on destroying EVERYTHING. He plays tug just about every day, sometimes twice a day, and is very aggressive about it. He loves this tug. We use a heavy duty velcro storage strap to attach it to a rope from a tree in the yard and set him loose. He is known in the neighborhood as the "swinging tree dog", it's hilarious to watch him have such fun and wear himself out. The tug is definitely showing signs of wear, but Goughnuts has an awesome guarantee that I will be using. This tug was well worth the price considering how much use and enjoyment it has gotten.

It smells just like a tire, because it kind of is lol. However, my 140lb dog that is still a puppy HAS NOT destroyed this yet. It’s definitely worth a buy if you want a toy to last longer than 5mins. I can tell that it’ll eventually rip apart. He’s is starting to break it down, but this is the longest lasting toy

We have a ln 80lbs Staffordshirebull terrier x German Shepard mix. He has been the heaviest chewer either me or my partner has ever owned. Kong toys don't stand a chance, he ATE them (we went up on a size and he still ate it) It has some give to it so it's actually kind of soft, when you press down on the material, as I've recently learned dog toys should have. This brand has been so durable and amazing. I want to replace all the toys he has with this brand. Definitely going to get the ball for him. The size of the toy is perfect in relation to my dogs size, so I suggest following the size chart. I can throw the toy down the hall and it'll bounce a little bit, usually in a random direction but it's not super bouncy. We have had this toy for a couple months now and there isnt any damage to it, just marks from his teeth sliding off. Great for dogs that like to play tug of war! Easy to use for your and the dog, as each will have a handle to grab on to. Our dog would sometimes accidently get our fingers trying to get his old toys but with thisz that doesn't happen anymore. I haven't had to clean it yet as it has stayed clean, and stays inside. The type of material it is, a quick rinse should be all that it needs. This company will also replace the toy (for about $9) if you send in the damaged one. I would look at their website for further info.

This was a great buy!! It’s the perfect level of firmness for my dog. I got the orange and black one and note that different colors correspond with different levels of “toughness”, so be sure to double check before you buy! I didn’t want anything too hard as he doesn’t like super hard chews, but nothing too flimsy he could easily chew to pieces and possibly ingest. This was a perfect happy medium for us. It’s great quality and has held up well so far, it’s been a few months. It was a total impulse buy and I remember thinking the price was a bit high, but I’m saving so much money in the long run considering how many cheaper versions of something like this I continue to buy that only last between a week and a month tops. Not to mention my 55-ish lb mixed breed loves it, so it’s worth every penny! I anticipate it to outlive many of the other toys/chews I bring through our door!

This tug toy seems to be durable. Our two dogs tug with it quite a bit and it doesn’t even have bite marks on it. The only reason for the 4 stars is that it is very heavy, which doesn’t seem to bother our two 34 lb. dogs but you definitely wouldn’t want to play fetch with this in the house because it would break anything it hit. I did purchase the larger size since our dogs love to play tug and I wanted the extra length and that has worked well but we definitely avoid playing fetch with it. All in all, very happy with this purchase.

My dog destroys and consumes every toy she has. She LOVES to play but it's dangerous as she swallows everything. Up until now she's been limited to nylabones. Everything else needs to be heavily monitored and removed pretty immediately. This toy has changed everything!! It has stood up to her most adamant chewy and allowed her to have something she can bring to us whenever she's ready to play. It did take her a few days to warm up to it but she brings it up to us every evening to play now. Cannot recommend enough!!

I suggest you get the toughest rubber version of this toy if you have an aggressive chewer. My pup has had the large toughest rubber pull toy for months. He managed to destroy the black kong very quickly. In a matter of a few weeks. I am surprised by how well it holds up. I am not sure if the different compounds of rubber matter for the smell some reviewers point out. it can be washed and dried. I use cold water. I get the largest size. My pup is 90 Lbs. I try to make sure he will not swallow anything toy wize to small. He has a great time with playing tug or just chewing on it. This is his favorite toy right now. I just purchased another Gonought toy, The ring. It is heavy but many durable things are heavy and dense, however my dog has no issues. He is an American Bully and so far it has held up. I am very happy because even though the price is a little higher for this toy, it has saved me money for months that I have not had to replace a toy every few weeks.

I read the reviews on this you know the smelly plastic etc it's a reason that I purchased it is for the lifetime warranty and I don't know how that's going to work for me I have 190 lb male Cane Corso and he's a beast and toys not bad he brings it to me often and we play tug of war what I do it all over again for what it is for the money absolutely not I think that this product is even with a lifetime warranty that I have not had to take advantage of yet cuz he has yet to destroy it so I'll give the product that cuz normally he'll tear stuff up within seconds but this product is smell you know the smell is I don't know what they're talking about on the reviews smells fine it doesn't smell at all it's a piece of rubber but he does bring it to me and we play tug of war and the product seems to be holding up what I do it again for the money no I think the product is grossly overpriced I could do the same thing with the towel I could buy a pack of towels that my dog absolutely adores and you know I could play tug of war with them for a year before he destroys the ball and they cost me $10 so you know it's all generally you know I would say it's up to the individual dog owner you know the lifetime warranty hooked me it did hook me because he destroys every other toy so I was hooked by the lifetime warranty on the product I haven't had to use it yet cuz he has yet to destroy it but who knows in the future when I try if I try to attempt a lifetime warranty claim then we'll see what happens but I've added about a month probably longer a little longer and he has yet to destroy it or frankly even bite through it so we'll see what happens
