mirrea Vintage Metal Large Dimmable Sputnik Chandelier with 18 Lights Chromed Finish

I had been looking for a large sputnik chandelier for my living room but the price was always out of my budget. However, based on the reviews, I decided to give this one a shot! It was a great decision because this feels like a high quality product! From the packing to the assembly, it was quite simple. This chandelier comes mostly assembled (you just screw in the 18 prewired arms, and the rod to attach to the ceiling). The gloves were a nice touch, however, it made the entire assembly feel slippery with them on. Also, a little more installation details of the mounting bracket would have been nice (as in which screws go where). But overall, this thing is fantastic!I used 18 LED Edison Light Bulbs [ [ASIN:B071YJCM2R LED Edison Light Bulb Dimmable Antique Decorative Light Bulbs Amber ST64 4W (40W Equivalent) E26 Medium Base Squirrel Cage LED Bulbs Warm White 2700K for Wall Sconces Pendant Lighting Pack of 6]]. Great color and brightness. Need to install dimmer as 18 light bulbs is very bright.

This Sputnik chandelier is a great value for it's size, amount of arms and ease of assembly. I originally liked a different brand that had varying length arms but I certainly was not going to pay the designer price for it. I shopped around and came back to Amazon for this model. Have a look at the photos. To get closer to the look of the more expensive chandelier we chose to purchase 2 different types of dimmable LED bulbs and are happy with the look, it's just fun! We also hooked this up to Alexa, along with our shade, so we have the light turn on to welcome us home in the evening and to enjoy seeing the chandelier from a far before we have the shade auto close for privacy.

This is outstanding! No need to spend a ton to great looking design. The sputnik design leaves virtually no shadows, and 18 bulbs will truly light up a space. It replaced an orb design in a foyer with 20' ceilings, which cast way too many shadows, and offered zero light directly beneath. I used 3000k Bioluz bulbs,  Bioluz LED Vintage Edison LED Bulb, Dimmable 7W ST64 Antique LED Bulb Squirrel Cage Filament Lights, Home Decoration, E26 Base, 3000K Soft White, Pack of 6 , and in fact it is too bright at full intensity, as others have mentioned. To deal with that, just use a Lutron dimmer like this:  Lutron SCL-153PH-WH 4 Pack Skylark Incandescent Dimmer, White  or  Lutron Maestro C.L Dimmer Switch for Dimmable LED, Halogen & Incandescent Bulbs, Single-Pole or Multi-Location, MACL-153M-WH, White  and set to desired intensity. At the dimmest level with my Skylark dimmer, the bulbs are very dim, which would be suitable for background mood lighting. With the Bioluz bulbs, there is no buzz that I have detected, and it is flicker free except at the dimmest settings. Fixture is about 29" wide without bulbs, and about a yard with.One installation issue I encountered is that the holes in mounting plate it comes with is not exactly the same size as my bolt locations. I was able to deal with that by not using the bolt holes in the plate, but rather the grooves and shoving the plate over to wedge it into place. Also, the supplied bolts were too short because the receptacle was recessed from the surface of the ceiling by maybe 1/4". So I had to make a trip to HD and buy some #10 - 32 x 2" machine screws, then use a Dremel tool to cut the screw head (since the bolt needs to be threaded on both ends). Actually, 2" was barely long enough, and it would have been better to buy the next size length and trim to the proper length.Note that the black is really black.I would not recommend this fixture for placement in a small or perhaps normal sized room at eye level due to the brightness, and especially without a dimmer. For those I would consider one with fewer bulbs. Also consider getting bulbs with less lumen output no matter what size room, unless you are lighting up a warehouse. The Bioluz has 800 lumens and I definitely would choose something with less brightness if I had to do it over.

I was concerned as to how difficult this would be to install. When it arrived, my fears were put to rest. It was super easy! Just had to remove the styrofoam slaves protecting each arm, work the cords into their holes, and screw in each arm. Voila, chandelier.Hanging it was equally easy. Though it states that it must be installed on a flat ceiling, it comes with parts to hang it on an angled ceiling. My ceiling is angled and it installed easily.Start to finish, including removing my previous chandelier, was 45 minutes tops. The parts were all included. I did not have to make my usual trips to the hardware store. The hanging kit even included white cotton gloves to keep fingerprints off the surface.Love the look and scale of this fixture in my dining room. Since I already had a dimmer switch on that outlet, the light is perfect - even with using 40 watt equivalent bulbs.

This is a high quality beautiful fixture and a great price. Easy to build and install. It took an hour start to finish. I like the white cotton gloves that came in the box. They keep the fingerprints off the bulbs when installing. Used 40watt led at 4 watts consumption. Oh.my.goodness...this fixture is everything I could have ever imagined and MORE! It was easy to put together (just a lot of twisting), and took about 20 minutes to install.It looks absolutely incredible in our dining room. With 18 bulbs, I opted for 4W 2700K 400LM 40W Warm White Edison bulbs.We installed a dimmer and couldn't be happier!

Light fixture is good quality for the price paid. Only downside is that one of the sockets did not work. That is OK because we exchanged it for the 12 socket version. This many bulbs was too much for our small living room, even after we added a dimmer switch. The dimmer switch is a definite must have. I would recommend this brand to a friend.

I bought this for my wife for our anniversary. I put it up in the dining room, and unfortunately my installation experience wasn't nearly as pleasant as others here have made it out to be. We have a displaced ceiling light box in our dining room and getting the mirrea put together and hung took quite a while. The included "instructions" (haha) are crap.I would suggest to anyone installing this - pay attention to the bit where it says "turn 10 times anticlockwise" when installing the arms, and also make sure to pop off the top of the centre globe while pushing the wiring in, as it'll save you some grief when you get towards the end. Also, the various entry points for sliding the wiring through are very tight, so be careful not to push/pull too hard, or you'll shave your wires down pretty badly from scraping against the metal.Pros:- Once I got it up there, it looks fantastic- VERY bright with 40W LED bulbs (like, insanely bright)- Decent amount of parts included to help with more awkward placement- White gloves come in handy installing bulbs (I wouldn't suggest using them for assembly, super slippery)- Feels like good quality beyond it being a little tightly constructed- E26 bulb base makes it pretty easy to find nice bulbs- Good price compared to other similar sputnik-style fixturesCons:- Install was a real pain in the butt- Instructions suck- It's big... a lot bigger than it looked like in photos (note that in most of the product photos, it's been photoshopped-in, so the actual size is a little misleading)- Wiring holes are narrow enough to damage the wiring if you're not really careful- VERY bright unless you use really low wattage bulbs (they suggest 18x 40W ... that's enough to light up our entire house at full brightness)I unfortunately ended up having to return this due to it being overly bright and overpowering our dining room due to the size and brightness. We ended up buying the 12-bulb version of the same fixture instead, and we'll use slightly lower wattage bulbs if possible.

Our home office is now better-lit than the bathrooms in our house.Does take some fiddling to get the arms screwed in and the mounting bracket screwed in place - but overall relatively easy to install (for a ~30 inch wide fixture).

Absolutely love how this fixture looks however when we finished installing It and started putting the bulbs in one of the sockets fell apart and was unable to hold the bulb.... my husband is going to try and replace the socket because honestly it was too much work to put up to take down and return.... hopefully that works or we may not have any other choice. Again it’s a beautiful fixture just very delicate and awkward to put up.

Maybe it’s the light bulbs or the dimmer switch but when you turn it on it’s like at night in Columbus they’re constantly going brighter and dimmer

Super nice fixture for the $, easy to assemble and install. looks great installed. Went with 40 watt Edison bulbs which is perfect.
