grow: The Art of Koyamori (English language)

This is not an instructional book but more an inspirational one. You will like this if you have a cute manga style. The work is beautiful but the techniques involved are not difficult to learn from/ replicate. The only thing I didn’t like was the slippery dust jacket.

I have followed 'Koyamori' on Twitter for a while and was so happy to see she had brought out a book! It's filled with a very large selection of her works, in all shades of colour. Hugely imaginative and inspiring.

finally a collection of the artist's work in printed format. Glad to have it on hand.

I bought a copy for a Christmas present and may have to buy one for myself.

The book came packaged in a cardboard box. First of all I’d like to say that my disappointment with this item has nothing to do with the artwork itself, the pieces are nicely done with a fair amount of flair and the artist obviously has talent. My quibble is that this is stated as being Hardback in the listing. It is not, it is most definitely a paperback. It has a dustcover. A dustcover wrapped around a paperback. Adding a dustcover does not make it a Hardback, it makes it a paperback with a dustcover. Point laboured. Point made. Other than that the artwork is nice and there’s plenty of it although some of it is a bit samey and sometimes the paper stock and the printing don’t do the colours justice but YMMV on this. I wanted a Hardback.

I love looking at Kotamori's art online, and I'm glad I have a physical form to enjoy the artwork now. The paper's great quality, the colors pop so much, I can't stop looking and studying the beautiful watercolor and ink technique. An absolute must get.

El libro esta muy bonito, se ve que esta impreso de muy buena calidad El arte es muy bonito, si tienes la oportunidad de comprarlo lo recomiendo mucho.

同じタイトルなんだから気づけという話なのですが 【Koyamori画集 grow (日本語) 単行本（ソフトカバー） 】と同じ商品です。 表紙が違うのでミスって同じものを買ってしまいました。 日本語版はこちらの英語版のカバー裏印刷が表紙になっています。 鮮やかな方がコート紙表のこちら英語版のほうがオススメかと思います。 日本語版の方を観賞用にして英語版は保存しておこうと思います。
