Nimble & Fun Lil' 2s!
This little guy is nimble & fun to fly, and was fairly easy to throw an O4 air unit into it -- especially after watching a couple "build" videos on YouTube. Seems to take a beating, too! Mine has been through a ton of crashes -- but all I've ever needed to do was swap out props. I'd recommend adding a little glue to reinforce the O4 connector board area, though. (There's a ton of videos on YT for that, too.) FYI: There's some pretty high-pitched/screaming noise with this one... it's not exactly quiet, lol.

Great FPV drone for DJI O4!
BetaFPV made a great FPV package for the DJI O4. Placing the Air Unit was so simple, my 11yo nephew did it. The components have gotten even better since Instarted FPVbin 2017. I use the FC in custom builds and the motors in custom 2-3s builds as well. There are plenty of 3-d prints to accompany the Femto. It flies like magic straight out of the box. It handles winds below 15mpg fine. It even flies fine in 20mph if you’re an adept pilot. The freestyle capability is actually better than the Avata and the price comparison makes the Femto a “no-brainer” IMO. BetaFPV customer service always takes care of me! The USB dongle was missing, so they sent one out the day I contacted them. I would recommend buying an extra anyway—- maybe 2🤣 . Thanks BetaFPV!!! Femto FTW🏆

Lower this little whoop 10/10
Lower this little whoop paired with the DJI O4. Great picture quality, incredibly fun to fly and pretty powerful for its size.

It's a tank and flies good IMO as a beginner
So I really have nothing to compare this to other than large cinematic drones.. but as for my feelings about this FPV rig, I'm really enjoying it as a beginner. Full disclosure I plan on buying something like a Pavo20 Pro just so I can use the O4 Pro and have a better view in the future. In the meantime this is a great practice drone. The Femto and O4 lite are not "bad", but you have to get used to it. I find that I can do very tight and precise maneuvers with this thing indoors. It's very easy to fly once you actually get a little simulator practice in and fly a few packs in real life. I run the lava 550mah lihv's and they give me the advertised 5 minutes. I had to mess with the rates a little bit to make it easier though. It will also fly great outdoors with the ONLY issues I've seen so far are prop wash when ascending, which is to be expected. I got no jello with all stock settings and no jello after playing around in betaflight. I think any jello is the result of the stiff camera cable touching the wrong parts of the frame or something. The build quality is quite good. I like the little rubber shock absorbers and how the design really takes stress off the frame during crashes. I've crashed this thing bad many times now. I've full throttled it into the ceiling, smashed it down into hard floors, had the props fight against obstructions etc.. Used turtle mode several times now without issues. It just seems like it's not going to break. Still flies like the day I got it. Change your throttle center in betaflight to something around the 30-33 region and you're basically good to go. Now the only downside I can really come up with so far is based around the inherent design of the O4 lite and its usage. You can't waste time with the thing and you basically need to start flying it as soon as you take off. You may find that during crashes where you have to walk over and get it that it will start shutting down from overheating etc. Again, that is an issue with the air unit itself and not the drone.

Poor Quality Control, motor died first use
Motor1 died after the first 10 seconds of flight, I am using the 7.6V 550mAh battery. Confirmed it was the motor and not the ESC. Amazon is sending a replacement.

Hard to beat value.
A pure pleasure to fly, compact, 5 minutes air time, good value for the money.
