Measurements pertain to the bottom of basket.
It is smaller at the bottom than at the top, so it doesn't sit on the bottom of sink as I had hoped it would.

Does the job
Well built, adaptable, and we will be using it for quite a while. The bottom is not countured to help keep dishes upright and it is somewhat shallow compared to what it replaced.
