I've ordered this several times. I'm a teacher and have 3 children. It works. I already bought the orginal kit. I just need refills. This is no longer available and I had to order a new kit. We already have the combs and applicator from before. We also have long, thick ethnic hair, so ordering the extra bottles was helpful. My thumb and middle finger barley can hold my pony tail, it's about 3 inches in diameter. This last time we had to cut hair. Please sell the refills again, not everyone has thin hair. The OTC stuff does not work and we actually had to get prescriptions from the pharmacy with harsh chemicals because this wasn't available.

Lice before school even starts. Great. This stuff really works. I bought the refill bottle only and applied it by hand because we already have combs and such at home. It actually smells really good to me. After letting it set for 10 minutes, everything I pulled from my daughters hair was dead which was surprising. We are coming up on one week since the first treatment and I will be using it again, and then again in another week. My daughter does not have thick hair so the one bottle will work for three treatments. If you are dealing with thick hair, the bottle will probably work for only two treatments. It is an oily consistency but it washed out very easily for us. I read other reviews that said their kids were left with greasy hair for days, but we did not have that problem. I don't care how much it costs, this is the only stuff I am using from now on.

Unfortunately, this was our daughters 2nd time with lice. This was our 1st time using this product & it was a great experience! Easy to use, my daughter didn’t cry when combing through her hair & all lice removed/dead after 1st treatment!!!!! Will never use or recommend any other product!!

Pros: Smells nice, kills bugs.Cons: It's a thick gel that will leave hair INCREDIBLY greasy, even after rewashing, and doesn't loosen the eggs at all.

I have 3 kids and I'm a teacher, so unfortunately, head lice has been a frequent occurrence in our home over the years. The pesticide kits just don't seem to work for us every time and they definitely do not address the nits.This product was easy to apply. I liked the comb applicator. And one bottle works for 2 of my kids (I used 2/3 of a bottle on my shoulder length hair). It doesn't smell toxic which was the first thing my kids noted about it. It also made their hair easy to comb. I let the solution stay on their hair 10-15 minutes longer than recommended, just to be sure.You do need to shampoo your hair 2+ times to get the oily solution out. I checked my kids over and over for days after we did it, and there were no nits or bugs left. We didn't need to do a second round. I bought 2 refill bottles to keep around the house just in case we get them again.

Make sure you read instructions. Leaving in and washing without shampoo etc. very helpful and got rid of our invaders.

This refill worked just as well as the stuff we bought at the on-site location. It smells really strong and is hard to remove BUT it WORKS! We were told to use blue Dawn dishwashing soap to remove it and it absolutely does remove the product as long as you coat your entire head and hair plus scrub well. It has mostly ingredients you can understand and it seems a lot safer to use on children vs. the stuff loaded with chemicals, with questionable results.**" We used with "Nit Free Terminator Lice Comb, Professional Stainless Steel Louse and Nit Comb" bought from Amazon. Best comb!
