Chickpeas Roasted and Slightly Salted 500gr - Acclaimed Product - Delicate and Crispy!

Read the reviews and wasn't sure about them but bit the bullet and bought them.I regularly roast chickpeas but it does take a bit of time so these seemed a good instant idea.Love them and even though it pains me to say it, they are better than my efforts.Delighted that I tried them and will certainly be buying these chickpeas again.Just try them.

I thought I loved all chick peas, but sadly not these. I usually buy the spicy chick peas but thought I'd try these for a change. I am gutted that I wasted my money. These are very salty (I like salty but not to this degree) and look and taste like they fell down behind the fridge several years ago! They are dry and soft/soggy and I was unable to swallow them without a huge gulp of fizzy pop to wash away the unpleasant taste and texture. However, they arrived quickly and well packaged but I can't eat them. Maybe I'll put them out for the birds as they are not fit for human consumption!!!

Pleasant enough flavour and only lightly salted, but I wouldn't describe as "crispy" - there was no hint of crispness or crunch involved at all in the bag I received. Perhaps I should try re-roasting them. Not as I remembered, but then nostalgia always makes things seem to have been better. Probably wouldn't order again, especially at the price.

Lightly salted and roast Chick Peas from Greece - a delectable Mediterranean snack; a small 'palmful' is enough to stave off hunger, but is also very appropriate with pre-dinner drinks; these chick peas are soft and easily chewed, the salt adding taste to an otherwise bland 'nut'; I remember the same type of snack being sold in small paper cones on the promenade in Malta durimng my childhood some 50 - 60 years ago

Not impressed. The flavour was ok but the texture is dry and powdery. Takes all the saliva out of your mouth! I was expecting a crunchy, savory snack as with other brands. I shall stick to making my own.

Absolutely horrible. Like eating little soft puffs of sawdust. Go for the crunchy ones from Brave. Much better but wanted to try something new so we gave these a go.

The chickpea flavour was very strong but turned so chalky and dry as you bite into it, I couldn't eat more than without choking and needing a large amount of water to wash it down. Not sure what to do with the whole bag now as its not enjoyable at all to eat. Any ideas?

I like these as an afternoon snack. They are also healthy as they have no additives or oil. Overall, if you like salted peanuts as a snack give them a try :)
