CORRECTION!
It IS a mirror. The writing on the sticker is so teeny tiny, I didn't see it. So, not returning it, am keeping it.Hope this clarifies my error.

I couldn't use this with my eye glasses...
I wear bifocals. Don't buy this if you wear bifocals unless you can figure out how to place the mirror below your cheek. It attaches to your helmet and is about 9 or 10 inches from your eyes. You can't tip your head up to bring the mirror into the proper focal zone like when you're driving or reading: The mirror moves along with the helmet so you can't change it's position relative to your glasses. I have no ability to judge it outside of why it was useless for me.

Bad shape.
Totally worthless. The convex shape distorts rear vision.

The convex mirror is a bad idea
I like the way this mirror hooks onto my helmet visor. It's quite sturdy, I'm able to adjust it, and it's high enough so as not to obstruct my vision. The convex mirror, however, is practically useless because it gives such a wide and unfocused view. So, I bought another mirror, the type that hooks onto glasses, removed the mirror from that set-up, and glued it to the back side of the convex mirror. I've attached a picture. Now I have a five-star bike helmet mirror, but, unfortunately, that's not what is being sold. To the manufacturer, get rid of the convex mirror and instead use a larger flat mirror and you will have a great product.

Inexpensive mirror that provides minimum rearview safety.
The mirror is small but you can see behind you without obstruction of your forward view.
